I just realised something. Somehow everyone in the city, from the hackers to the police to the builders knows how to hack if you give them a phone. In watch dogs 1 and 2, the members of dedsec are implied to have a history of hacking. Here, you can give any homeless dude a phone and he could shut down a security system for a government building in 5 minutes.

maybe thats why in legion no one can do major hacks like aiden and marcus can, no blackouts, no coding the lights on servers to color code skulls giving the finger as classical music blasts. i think in legion, everyones just a scrip kiddie.

Both the best and the worst. While they try to do more then just waltz around whith ACTUAL ROUTINES ala RDR2, they are coded so hard they cant bother chasing you for more then two streets.

In a game where the auto-save is broken, and manual saves are non existent. Race against an invisible clock where the auto-save can stop working anytime, and then have the game crash losing hours of progress, resulting in you being forced into doing it..... You can recruit any random npc you see on the street, allowing for potentially infinite replayability... but you'll eventually end up using the same gang of 5-6 people for every mission, because failing a stealth section because your character farted is funny exactly once.

The implementation is different. GTA’s skill for having a gun is just like how every COD protagonist has a gun: it’s a given. It’s pretty much default for your character to own a gun after going through several tutorial missions. In Watch Dog Legions? With the multiple playable NPCs, each character have a default skill and perks that weighs in your choice in recruiting them. This includes owning a gun. Not all the characters can have guns or have the same guns. GTA V have each characters with a different arsenal, but it’s very easy for you to equip each character with the same weapons. In Watch Dog Legions, it isn’t the same as that.

No, I did too. Though I was disappointed that your actions had no impact on the story. During the mission you save your nephew (the later one) I only did non-lethal takedowns to see if it would change the narrative, but nope it still said that Jacks saw me kill all those guys. I killed no one!!
