Especially in such developing countries where $100 is smth you might get robbed or killed for. Hey Luke. It brought tears to my eyes as I watched your transformation. In fact I lost my baby brother who was a very skillful men's barber just like this gentleman. And what a generous reward he got. I watched you from Sweden where I moved to as refugee back in '87. I'll subscribe to your channel. Visit Armenia. My parent's origin homeland who were also survivors of ww1 who were welcome as orphans by our dear 2nd homeland Lebanon. I'm a 3rd generation born there. Stay safe son. A motherly advice though. I've been told that smoking water pipe for 20 minutes is equal to more than 50 cigarettes.

@@HotdogSosage the cut was for 180k which is approximatly 9$ (the $ rate is 20000 leb lira) and even that is a bit expensive considering he went to like a fancy and big barbershop , if you go to like small and smaller one you could get it for like 50k which is about 2.5$ . Now is lebanon safe? in normal days yes its safe but i wouldnt recommend coming here soon because a lot is happening lately like the heavy deadly clash that happened in tayouneh few days ago. Maybe just wait for now and if things get a little bit stable then yeah id definitely recommend coming here its a great country and its very cheap for foreigners. Peace

It's actually quite nice to expirence things like this out of country. It reminds me of home. I went to Mexico and got a haircut in a very nice mall, and it reminded me of home. I paid $16 there, and it was at a luxury place. It was actually the best haircut I have ever gotten in my life based only on the fade. My current barber is really good, but to recreate that exact fade is so hard. And that mexico stylist did it first try. Hopefully mine can do it again next time.

I almost moved to Beirut 12 years ago to get married but it fell through due to legal issues passport etc.etc. but I absolutely am going 2 move to the middle east at some point in my life! As an Australian of Lebanese background I can't recommend it enough. For such a small country, Lebanon sure has a lot packed into it. Always try to have a guide or someone familiar with area as this will make the trip much smoother!
