Hold You? Ha it's not a usual SHINee request, but I love it. The song really could've fit in an even earlier SHINee album. It really reminds me of early R&B SHINee.

I enjoy their live singing , stage presence and energy the most out of all groups.But I don’t vibe with most of their song selections. At first my favorite albums are the 6th and 7th one cos they sound more like mainstream pop songs, instant bops. But as I listen more, my favorite album becomes the 3rd one. Just the right amount of ‘weirdness’ makes it addictive. Plus Jonghyun’s voice is gold. I think people just need to be a bit more patient with Shinee when their songs don’t feel like instant bops. They can lead you to a whole new music world. Sometimes I thought to myself, if they got more mainstream songs, they could have been much bigger. Or SM could have invested more, cos SM has the power to be a trend setter. They didn’t really promote in China, the biggest asian market. For many groups, the Chinese fan base sizes are half the number of the total Instagram followers. But Shinee is pretty much the least known SM group in China. Yes they don’t need huge fan size to prove anything. But it’s more difficult on them as k-idols.

@@zhulin2531 you described it perfectly! and honestly I think sm didn’t bother to try and break into the chinese market because japan welcomed shinee with open arms, that’s why there were years in their career where sm made them solely focus on japan even putting korea on the back burner

@@yunqb1519 Yeah I watched their Vlive concert and 90% of the chatting comments I saw were in Japanese. And I was surprised to see Jonghyun chose Japan, their work place, as his tour destination on that reality show. They are really connected with the fans and places in Japan. I was adding Shinee songs to my playlist, and I got almost 80 songs, not counting their ballad or solo songs. Even though it’s true that I don’t listen to most of their songs, 80 is still a big number. They just released so many songs. I’m sure everyone can find something they’re into

He did love Atlantis, and ended up adding Code to his playlist too. Some of these song choices are pretty nice. Though, I don't think he'd like most of them, something like One Minute Back might be interesting for a one time reaction since it's on the experimental side, but I highly doubt he'd add it to his playlist, same for the others. The only one I'm more confident in is Shift, because he already heard a short snipplet of it on SHINee guide reaction and seemed to vibe with it. It's also on my list of potential future requests.

@@Lawol I actually don’t know how to suggest songs that would match other people’s taste because I, myself, have a wild range of music I listen to 😂😅 so even when I think I wouldn’t like the song or at first I don’t like the song, sometimes they end up as common favorite. I just suggested those songs that aren’t common but I like 🙈. However, I do agree that Shift is a must. 💯

@@louie24el haha same, based on my taste I'd recommend him something totally different but I try to match Aaron's taste that is very specific and unfortunately it seems that most of SHINee songs aren't it. But at the same time, it's hard to tell for sure, sometimes he's also unpredictable.

I really love this song! I love R&B so I love all their R&Bish songs. The live performance is glorious because of their live vocals. That's usual with SHINee haha I think you will enjoy more SAVIOR from that album. It's an EDM song. Thanks for keeping reacting to SHINee!

Shinee is 1000% better in their live performances. 1000% immersed into the song. No other kpop grp has surpassed that impression they have on me. Nct127 come next, especially their ballads. While I appreciate Shawols sponsoring to have certain songs for you to react, Aaron, but, in the same breath, I believe Shinee's older discography is not your cup of tea.
