And they fake his death with the accidental help of Shaw, nope, not the little Shaw, the big Shaw that then goes on to team up with Hobbs. The Shaw who is such a badass and successful assassin he doesn't even need to check that his corpses are not, in fact, holograms... Ow my head hurts, Imma take a nap now!

7 is where they should have ended IMO. Ever since 8, most of the action and story were off. Like F5-7 are ridiculous but not comically ridiculous because they don't mask a lot of it with CGI. F8 onwards have this weird smoothness/CGI effect to the action scenes, it ruins almost every practical stunt the series have done until now (Yes even F9 uses practical, all ruined by CGI)

Thank you for this. I doubt I'm ever going to see this movie, so this was a perfect way to understand everything there is to know about this movie. I really do hope they keep continuing to make more F&F movies, just to see how ridiculous they can be until people stop paying money for them. I would totally like to see them incorporate aliens, dinosaurs, a journey to the center of the earth, ghosts, and the Men In Black, or whatever else they want to try. The more ridiculous, the better.

While many think that this franchise is dumb, I honestly think that it's amazingly smart. They genuinely want to be a silly, over-the-top action flicks and have fun with it. They don't pretend, they don't try too hard. And it's this franchise's strong point. This is how honesty works in movie industry. Do things you actually could do. Don't try to lie to the audience. Give them what they actually want, not what they think they want.
