1:19:00 the problem people had with Animal was not that it is violent or misogynistic,it is that this behaviour is not condemned but condoned by the director himself who has made multiple statements justifying violent and misogynistic behaviour of the male protagonist in his films like Kabir Singh Or Animal in the name of 'love' because he believes that if you can't slap someone in a relationship when you're angry and the person takes offence then you don't love each other and that's just the tip of the iceberg, he has made multiple remarks in multiple interviews which becomes a problem as he's not pointing out the irony but rather celebrating it and in a way promoting it through his art.

I would like to share something funny that Zarar said on the podcast. He asked "Kabhi zip mai phasi hai?" which gave me a good laugh. Although, the guys on the podcast are smart, educated, and well-mannered, some people may refer to them as "burgers." However, Unfortunately, these are those people who disrespect women, use abusive language, and engage in inappropriate behavior. As a man, I can attest to this. However, not all men are same. Despite the occasional crude humor, I always learn something from the podcast. It's a part of "launda talk" culture and I love it. Shahveer, keep up the great work with your podcasts! I hope to see more in the future. Good luck!

The film Animal has brought out a fact, that men and women def think differently. Most men I’ve seen have either completely celebrated this film, or atleast liked it a bit. Women mostly find it terrible or atleast idiotic. It is a man’s film catering to men only.

U guys should talk about the western propagandas such as liberalism ,lgbtq+ ,radical feminism which is against islam and totally an West propaganda in and out... especially these 3 things have no end or boundary line ,it destroyed the western social fabric ...And other problems such as alcoholism, drugs addiction, problems faced by newcomers in pak drama/film industry ... instead of talking about how poor rural people produce children...i mean they will do this when there is no education, and all resources are claimed by only the elite class...and remember population can be used as an asset n resource if used right way.....instead of criticing rural /urban poor you should talk about how or atleast the govt need to turn this human resource into human capital!!!!

Well here at 1:21:28 I Wanna say that Shayari conveys two different meanings: 1.Haqeeqi maani (having real meaning) 2.Mujaazi maani(Related to Poet n his stuff) ......and there are certain sher (stanzas) where poet actually want to say something else ..something conveying a deeper sense.. E.g:Hasrat mohani's ghazal (Rasme jafa),Faiz Ahmad Faiz's Ghazal, Similarly Mir Taqi Mir's Ghazal(Hasti Apni Hubab ki si hai......actually conveys a message about the world n it's temporary existence) So in short,we can say that Shayari is not just all about mehboob

The best part or better to say most relatable part of the podcast is when your frndz taking about your happy married life Mashallah. I do think same because when someone or my parents talk about my marriage I just said I want a person in my life like you the understanding or friendly in your and I will be the ayesha of my relation. I want that kind of relation .

I’m sorry if this sounds like a hate comment, I’m not hating just sharing my views, I enjoyed today’s podcast and liked the ideas you discussed. Films, drama and the media in general throughout history has been used to highlight different social issues and evoke change. And although people ideally should be able to detach themselves from reality and fantasy (cinema) not everyone, specifically kids aren’t able to. Psychological research based on the Social Learning Theory shows that as children we develop our ideas about the world through the media we consume and what we see around us. So looking at it from that point of view, to an extent filmmakers do have a certain level of responsibility. Also Daniyal it’s not only in Pakistan where teachers analyse literature and connect it to contemporary issues, that’s what literature is all about. I’m from England and we analyse Shakespeare’s plays in exactly the same way, and we hate having to do it but that’s just what the subject is about 1:21:47

Correction: there was active family planning during 70's and 80's and two child family was a popular slogan. There were Basic Health Units and midwives setup all over the country to help people plan family and have access to basic health facilities in small and far flung villages. It was slowly wrapped up during doctator Zia-ul-Haq era and after, due to mullahism taking hold. Afterwards family planning has been the least important issue on any government agenda.

The anticipated scholars are giving their valuable vast knowledge, research analysis of family planning core values, decision making level, sex education, explores on their personal prospective, among them not have any practical experience in real life in person !! It's excitement of young generation, in terms of the asain context, Muslim community still practice their own ideology, customs. Marriage is the common practice of every human being being adults and its a desire.

What an utter nonsense sitting and the confabulation! Those lads really know what they are talking about! Being privileged and sitting comfortably in a room and venting frustration and insecurity is an effortless job than facing the verisimilitude of life. I might be amiss; I am open to other notions. Why do I feel a sense of void every time I watch these Launda Talk episodes? I feel like Hamza Sohail belongs with you guys and should be part of these conversations. I mean, he went to the same school as Danyal and Shahveer. Not to mention, he's also one of Danyal’s best friends and had a similar upbringing. So, Idk if I'm even making sense or not, but there’s something missing.... manifesting Hamza's presence in the next similar episode. ❤
