From what I've. read the bears have been reintroduced into the Pyrenees only but the snakes are very plentiful on the Iberian Peninsular, normally they don't bother you though. There are very small spiders which give you a nasty bite however - well at least here in Catalonia, and very small flies called the negra mosca, maybe not in Portugal. Watch out on the roads for wild animals like the boars and deer, or even wild dogs. But apart from that things are so much better here than in the UK, and the wine is cheap, enjoy your trip.

One thing we found about moto camping, especially touring when moving on every night that cooling food is very time consuming and allot of hassle, buying the food at a supermarket, setting up the cooking equipment then making it, then walking to do the dishes somewhere and packing the kit away again… We are going to try some boil in a bag options next time
@arcticr6 ай бұрын
Once again you guys make me laugh out loud, if that's a cricket it must be 8 feet tall 😂 About the cardo unit… an assistant of mine had an accident in the galley, “drowning” her iPhone while experiencing rough sea. She left it on the bathroom floor overnight. Didn’t work out. So because she had “written it off” I decided to try the convection oven. I “baked it” on 50 degrees Celsius for 2,5 hours. The phone worked just fine after this rather unconventional method. If you rent a place that has an oven, you can try “cooking your Cardo” on the lowest temperature keeping the door slightly open to let out any moisture… Good luck and ride safe 🫵😀🇳🇴

@@ontheroadadventure I’ve found the instructions. Your grips aren’t in auto mode…I remember mine did this when I first installed them. - The controller goes into BSM after 5 seconds of the voltage being less than 11.5V, or after 2 minutes of not detecting any noise on the 12V power lead. Once in this mode, it will wait a further 5 minutes or thereabouts before switching off completely. - If the rider does not want or like this feature, the BSM can be disabled by switching the controller on and then pressing and holding both buttons together for 5 seconds. - During this time, the BSM LED will indicate whether the BSM feature is currently enabled (LED on) or disabled (LED off). - After 5 seconds the state of the LED will change, and the user can let go of the buttons. So just follow the above directions and then wait a few minutes and the BSM light will start flashing to confirm it’ll switch off shortly….unless power is restored…as in you start your bike again 🙂

You need a Healtech Thunderbox for any connection to a battery, apart from a battery charger. Are you not wearing your heated clothing? Please explain why you'll eat a domestic pig but not a wild pig? 😂 Is your speedo showing kph or mph - just curious.
@ontheroadadventure6 ай бұрын
We left it in mph the satnav shows us mph speed limits. We will look into thunder box for sure

Snakes, eh? I hate the b@stards. With my Italy trip coming up fast, I'm considering that a bivvy bag is maybe not as snake proof as I'd hope and I'll be waking up with a dozen of the little sh!ts warming up in my sleeping bag. My wife and I enjoy your channel, keep the great content coming!
