That brathy underrated voice is really typical from "la movida" all the pop/electropop/pop-rock from Spain in the late 80's, so for us who grew up there, she is on top!!

Sorry no, I grew up then too. It's not a laid back style that's the problem - it's that you can hear she's not a well trained singer and is just struggling to even get through the whole thing. She sounds strained and flat for real, not in a calculated way. If you listen to vocalist in Pet Shop Boys for example, you can hear strenght, energy and character.

Thank you for the reaction! This song is so much fun! Thank you for acknowledging her rich vocal. The studio version is AWESOME! A lot of people say she sings terrible and that is just not accurate. Yes, she needs to work on those higher notes which are clearly out of tune and I am confident she will get there by May. But if she doesn't I don't think it will affect Spain's placement that much. It will either connect with everyone for the uplifting and super fun performance, or it will get dismissed. In any case, Spanish people won't care because they're sending a song that they're clearly so passionate about.

For everyone. This song has been quite important in Spain for us. The message is amazing. Is about that word 'Zorra' (bit*ch) and how the people use it contemptuously (if you wear that dress.. you're a..... if you are in a party having fun.. you're a bit**....) and she's saying something like: ok, whatever... use that word, i don't care.. is your problem, you're an idiot ☺ Her voice is not the best, but the song moves our body and our mind. I think what you miss (and what Eurofans who don't understand Spanish) are going to miss... is the message. Surely reading the lyrics you will understand why the audience behaved like this proudly shouting "Z0RRA". Don't say "Z0RRA" cause it basically sounds like "S0RRA". Try to say "THOR-RRA" instead of "Z0RRA" cause in Spanish the "Z" sounds like a strong "TH". And yes, she has no voice and the song is not very good. But who cares? I love the song but only eurofans knows the lyrics, people who only watch it on the night won't and that's the majority of people... :S
