I have watched some of his other video's in the past week or so and yesterday, I was mowing my lawn and was mowing around a Rose of Sharon bush in full bloom with dozens of bees happily going in and out of the blossoms and even though I was right next to them they weren't bothered by my presence one bit. It was amazing. Very educational videos to say the least. What amazing little creatures they are.

Hey Yappy, I've got a 5 year old student who is terrified of bees. Like he'll run screaming and crying at the very sight of a bee. I've had many talks with him about bee behavior which hasn't sorted out his fear at all. So today I showed him this video, the part at 4:03 specifically when you are handling the swarm. He got very curious, kind of calmer, and was interested in why you were touching the bees and not getting stung. I told him not to copy you, but prompted him to understand that you know a lot about bees and are helping them find a new home so they can be safe and help our environment. It definitely sat on his mind and challenged his fear. Thank you for such amazing and educational content!

@@kimberlyjeanne9456 Well, she might have, Yappy is pretty tough. But he's also pretty smart so he had her so when she could she was only able to strike his fingernails (too tough there) and he was very careful of her, as the whole colony depends on her to continue. At this stage, losing a queen would be fatal to the swarm, unless they could return to their former colony - which is not always possible. So he was careful, and then caged her to keep her safe for a few days until he can get them housed properly.
