It is I, Bri, Champion of the Dishes. So deeply grateful for the validation! For the record, Whitney fits it all in there and I do not. Plus she is the damn sweetest little weirdo and the greatest honor of all is being her sweetie. So I’m Meangirls-ing this tiara and sharing the throne. Thank you so damn much for taking our case!

#atouchmoreof I would like to hear Megan talk about the key NWSL matches from the weekend before. Just a summary analysis of key games and standout players like Sue does for the WNBA.

Yes to the Six Feet Under finale! It was beautiful. Also the pilot of Lost is worthy of top 5 consideration as are some other episodes. The grip that show had on the nation!

Justice for Scandal from Shondaland. You guys never watched it? Come on, get with it 😂. Loved the episode as usual, killed it. What I wanna see is tunnel fits of the week both W & Women’s football (and yeah it is football not soccer, gonna die on that hill😂😂). Also, niece cuteness is missed.

Oh man, what a classic Seinfeld episode!!! Ironically, in the Episode, Elaine invites a guy to stay with her from....Seattle!!!!! Then, when he gets there, she can't stand him and tries to get him out, but on the day of his flight, they over sleep, and she has to tackle the Van Wyck...SO GOOD!! :)

#atouchmoreof autoimmune conditions in professional female athletes. Autoimmune conditions are more prevalent in females, how do professionals athletes thrive and live with one?
@KerryLucas-h7cАй бұрын
Love your show. You do mention something that there seems to be common with most female WNBA commentators. You can not like Caitlian or Angel without paying tribute to past players. The asterisk idea because the number of games has increased in a season is a horrible idea. Just ask the Roger Maris family. People hated on Roger because he broke Babe Ruth homerun record in 162 games instead of 154 (number of games in MLB before). The NFL does not put asterisk next to season records as number of games increased from 12 to 14 to 16 to now 17. When you look at NFL history, they will mention number of games. For example when you look up Jim Brown, they will mention his records were set in fewer games. I believe you disrespect current players when you continually say "you like Angel. You need to remember the players that came before". When I started watching the NFL, Jim Brown was my hero. I did not know know much about the past. As my interest increased over the years I learned the history. There was not this you like Jim Brown. You need to learn about all the previous players before you like Jim Brown. You learn about the past as your interest increases. Not the other way around.

@kasi3355Ай бұрын
I just came here to say the same thing! Just finished the doc earlier today, seems like her former teammates have wiped her from their memory since 2016. Would definitely love to hear Rapinoe’s thoughts given the doc just aired and a lot of time has passed since a lot of these things took place
@sq21122lin1207Ай бұрын
because Hope Solo is shitty human being that none of her teammates wanted to associate with her.
@angelaasaka350Ай бұрын
They have all put it behind themselves and no one is interested in getting into a back and forth, not even Hope's BFF. Brianna Scurry's doc is no longer on Paramount plus unfortunately, but you can still get her book. It paints a very different picture on some of the events. Read her book to see the other side, that's why I try to not get carried away when I watch or see one person's point of view. Sometimes the truth is actually somewhere in the middle, and then sometimes multiple things can be true.
@MartaComplexАй бұрын
God, everything nowadays is always a 'conspiracy' discovered by random people on social media who claim to know more about a situation that the people in it in the first place. Perhaps former players simply don't want to talk about it. It's not a mandatory topic. Hope Solo has done some pretty awful things and has said some unpleasant stuff about the sport and her teammates - it's understandable that perhaps they don't want to interact with her. It's their choice after all and there are plenty more positive topics to talk about. Hope Solo is not a victim. The documentary that you watched is not some unbiased piece of work. She has a vested interest. There is no conspiracy to silence her. It's just not worth the time, when there's so much else to cover in women's sports.
