Honey Garlic Chicken!

Honey Garlic Chicken
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder
In a pan on med/high heat, sear thighs on both sides until golden brown. Once cooked through (about 10-12 min), add 5 minced garlic cloves to centre of pan.
Once it has become fragrant (about 30 sec) we'll add the honey garlic sauce.
Honey Garlic Sauce:
1Tbs soy sauce
2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
1/3 Honey
1Tbs chili garlic sauce
Let this simmer for about 3-4 min so the sauce thickens. Make sure to flip chicken to coat evenly.
Serve over rice and with your favourite vegetable!

make the chilli soy sauce mixture before you start cooking. Once you add garlic and wait for it to become fragrant (30secs) you want to trap the fragrance of garlic with the liquid. It looks like he slightly burned the garlic here which is fine if it’s your preference

I made this without the chili garlic sauce.. instead I put a teaspoon of red pepper flakes. It was SO good. Not too spicy for my kids but with a little kick for my husband. Everyone loved it. Thank you!!

@@cosmoswatching4007 sesame oil is more widely used in asian cooking, in particular Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. You don't usually fry with it as it has a low smoking point, but a few drops are usually added during cooking.
