@Grumpy Cat totally agree... as a Chinese living in the UK, every Chinese restaurant I have been to that are full of western people, the foods are no good at all. I won't even call that Chinese food to be honest. For most of the good Chinese restaurant I go, they have a special version of meal for the non-Asian customer.

The roasted chicken and duck there is succulent enough to hanker for, especially with the rice and green onion. Whenever we travel to HK, we always eat them. If you ever travel there or have these dishes near you, try them. But if you travel there, be sure not to order from locations near tourists area or hotels as they charge more, so go for local areas like the one shown here.

I think it's perfectly fine he s not using glove. As seen in the video,he s nt really touching anything else other than the food. What I deemed bad is when I went to this other country, the guy used the same hand to receive the money from me and continue handling my food. That s a big Ew

If someone's hands are clean, and they aren't handling anything other than the food- gloves are not necessary. And, if someone IS wearing gloves but also handling money as well as the food- THAT is nasty. In other words- gloves do not make food handling any more sanitary than scrupulously clean hands. It seems that here, someone else is handling the dirty money. It's all good.

people saying wear gloves really have no fucking clue what they're talking about. if your hands are clean and you are only in contact with food and utensils that are clean, wearing gloves is not necessary. As a matter of fact, the reason he is not wearing gloves is because wearing gloves makes you lose any friction and when handling oily foods, you are more prone to an accident by wearing gloves. It's sad that some of you really think that just because they aren't wearing gloves, it must be unsanitary. He could be scratching his booty with his gloves and ya'll would'nt know shit.

Great video. I'd eat from there any day of the week. The cook has some major skills with that huge cleaver. Just my take, but I found it amusing at around 2:50 when that older guy in the black shirt and glasses looks like he cuts into line, nudges the cook aside, points at the cuts that he wants and starts to trying to boss him around. It looks like the very busy cook ignores him and basically says you get what you get.

The local health department inspectors would not let us use gloves in the kitchen are when handling customer's food. He said there is too great a chance for cross contamination. We get busy and careless when wearing gloves. Also, have any of you complainers ever see what goes on in some U.S. restaurant kitchens [especially where the staff does not care] to good that goes out the door? You would be disgusted. Watch Kitchen Nightmares - some of that back room stuff really happens.
