I really can't understand channels like Van Balion and Team Skeptic, when they make a video about FA auditors. Especially the comment sections of those videos are baffling. Hundreds and hundreds of comments about how the FA auditor should be thrown in jail etc. And if in the video the auditor does get arrested, the comment section will be full of cheers and jubilation, as if it were the best thing they have ever seen. And, of course, there will be the inevitable comments of the form "this would never be allowed in my country, he would be immediately arrested", as if that were a good thing! Seriously, some people are bragging how their countries have less freedoms than the US, how the situation is so much better in their countries because freedom of expression is more limited and people are arrested more easily. It's mind-boggling.

I like my current employment, but I'd also like to get a job working for a governmental agency. I'd LOVE to "school" my supervisors (or even higher), in regards to this issue (since security as a whole, is NOTORIOUSLY LAX, in teaching/training guards and officers and supervisors, if they teach them ANYTHING). I'd also be interested in seeing HOW LONG it would take them (the company), to TERMINATE me, because I'm "insubordinate", lol. Because that's what would happen. City officials would put pressure on the execs (not the supervisors - even THEY, are too "low-level") at the security company, to have me removed. Then I'd have a choice to try to sue, except California is a "at-will" employment state, meaning, they can terminate, for ANY cause. But it WOULD be a good "test experiment". 😄😄

As a government employee; they absolutely have plenty of training available on the subject. I have personally seen it, taken it, and have zero issues with filming. (Granted I work military bases so we do have some reporting measures etc. even if legal we do have some steps) The issues are: Ego People - Think they know everything and laws don't matter. The amount of assaults over filming is insane. Security Guards - Do not get the same training and honestly usually are 3rd party trash like allied security. Police - Police MOST of the time know they can't do something and in the event they don't know this is a lack of training. Again, its available for my dumbass who doesn't enforce laws so it should be available for them. Lastly, auditors. Too many bad auditors who push too far means no matter what its a waiting game to see if they can be arrested. If every auditor was Jeff, I imagine change would happen faster... still won't be perfect but faster.

There's a difference between " security " and abusing the public . Why do they feel the need to bark commands to citizens. You cannot give people any latitude otherwise authoritarianism kicks in so readily. God Bless our Homeless Vets 🙏 Support from the UK 🇬🇧

I wish I had known you were in Greensboro. I would have come downtown and taken you to lunch. I wish it had been one of the cops I know that came up to you. My neighbor's son is a Greensboro cop.

That right there is the problem, you give the dirty cop a wink and a nod and tell him to leave Jeff alone, that’s NOT the way it’s supposed to be.

These security guards are only doing what they are told. Why not get their employer straightened out about their job and what they have to do. Politicians need to be held responsible for all of this going on.

Thae passive-aggressive bs is what gets me. I'd rather someone truly hostile to liberty just show it, instead of "You have a blessed day, too," then calling cops!

Security is just being told what to do, by their command staff (supervisors, who are told what to do, by executive staff/administration). And those people are told what to do, by "the Client" (which, in this case, is the City). And "those" people (Company execs - General Manager, or Owner), don't want to lose the account, so they bend over backwards, to appease the Client (Client/Security company dynamic). Execs for a security company will do ALL SORTS of unethical and, sometimes even lawless things, to stay in a Client's good graces. I've seen it; experienced it. (25+ year private security professional here, from standing guard, to Account Manager, and all points in-between)

7 times in the last three years? For practicing a few of our fundamental rights! I love this country, hate this government. I gave 8 yrs to a government who cares nothing about us! I just can't fathom being arrested 7 times in the last three years for rights given to us by God, not the government. Stay safe Jeff, thank you for the inspiration.
