I loved the look of this pattern and experimented with it to make sleeves for a cardigan. I chained 30 and made a circle then followed this pattern. Every increase was done in the single crochet round. It looks amazing, thank you for the fantastic tutorial! 😊

I love these types of stitch. I lose count no matter how hard I try (adhd sucks), so stitches that you can clearly see what you've done and what goes next are a blessing
@daisykid33 жыл бұрын
Same here! I also have ADHD and stitch markers are pretty much essential for any project I do. It's nice to not have to keep count.

I love your tutorials. I am a brand new crocheter, learning by watching videos. I have the most problems with the last and first stitches. Sometimes, I want to ask you to move your thumbs, as you tend to put them on the first and last stitches. Love learning from you!

Hi Toni! I have the same issue at times and I've known crochet for over 15 years.. still learning. It's an endless art that always requires more knowledge! Keep it up!!

First and last stitches, seaming neatly, and filling in odd gaps at the beginning of rows. And getting the gauge right without doing a proper blocked swatch! Some yarns block out, some don't. Some stitches and yarns drape, some don't. Every project feels like a test run. I can see. why experienced crafters stick to the same yarns and patterns.

You got me into this....explain, please; So after making a blanket large enough to cover Hampshire (it started out as a dishcloth. Counting is hard, ok?) then another one that saw the word "lairy" and decided "yes, we need more LSD here" I got all stupidly above myself and decided to go for large, messy, slouchy jumper. Tis going thusly: Attempt 1: Measured based on my fave LMSJ plus a few extra for luck. Forgot I'd lost weight and what is supposed to be just the back wraps round me with over a foot to spare. Dunno if this counts as a win or a loss and still have shoulders like a navvy. 2: Different woolly shtuff, different yarn. Still normus. 3. We'll go for vertical stripes instead. Be fiiiiiiine. Interval for cat. Cat won. 4. Oh. Vertical stripes now reach knees. 5. Start again, will sort the vertical mess out later cos it was too dense. This is our story, there is a plan here. Deffo. 6. Larger hook cos want light and holey. Remembered to do approximately three thousand less stitches. Go me. 7. Fewer stitches but bigger hook? Sigh. Gave into Fate; bloody thing can act as a teacosy. For the house. 8. So we have a front....n a sleeve...n a back.....n a sleeve....n a front. You may be able to spot the teensy problemette here. Your fault. You have lured me into an entirely false sense of competence and now look. I've got three sides and they're all gigantic 😠😂
