I used balloons when "surf fishing" an outgoing tide. One nice trick is to tie the balloon to a "lifesaver candy", then loop your line through the lifesaver. The balloon carries your bait out, the lifesaver dissolves and drops the bait where you want it. WORKS GREAT ! 😎👍
