Let’s see if he can lead the league in anything or make all-nba first, OK? He did come close to cracking the top 10 in scoring this year. I must admit that he has shown a huge part of being a mega-star, elevating his game in the playoffs like MJ always did.

I mean if he wins the chip (which I think he will) then that’s a start but we just gotta see more of Ant before we start jumping into conclusions but I’ve been sold on Ant since the beginning of this season. Every season he has improved tremendously and he’s starting to show glimpses of what he can be. Honestly not mad at the Jordan comparisons but we should just chill on it a lil.

Jordan learned to play the way he did because of playing through loads of contact. Ant wasn't raised in the game that way so it affects what you do routinely. Great video bro!! The 6 Reasons why people are comparing AE to MJ (summary): 1. 1:42 - Aesthetics - they're Physically soo similar. I agree with you 100%, been saying he looks like a young MJ since he cut his hair. 2. 2:31 - Similar Playing Styles (3:25 - even MJ agrees on their style similarities, lol. But I'm surprised Mike didn't say "he stole all my Moves," like he did about Kobe, lol). 3. 3:39 - Fearless - he really is (i.e. that crazy dunk on John Collins). 4. 5:34 - Meteoric Rise in the NBA (for those of you who didn't know how to spell me-te-or-ic, including me, lol). 5. 7:40 - Respect they command from their peers 6. 9:06 - Timing of their emergence in the NBA (10:10 - "I mean Zion struggles w injures, Tatum is boring (lmao), and Morant is working on his reputation"). There are definitely a lot of SIMILARITIES, and AE has the POTENTIAL to be the next MJ (size, style, personality, etc, just like young Kobe did), so the comparison is Fair (and like you said, no one is saying that he will Accomplish all the things that Mike did tho).

I grew up watching Jordan. What Edwards does the same as Jordan is elevate all of his players around him. That is exactly the same as Edwards right now and we are seeing it before our eyes. The two road wins in Denver against the defending champs are no fluke. Edwards and the Twolves are going to win this series and I believe the championship this year. Anyone saying Anthony Edwards’s isn’t the next Jordan is smoking rocks. It took Jordan 7 seasons before he won his first ring. Anthony Edwards’s has only played 4 seasons this far. His performance is otherworldly and his competitive nature is there. Give him some more time to develop and you’ll see why Ant man is that guy. If Jordan sees the glimpses, yall are simply in denial. Ask yourself when the last time Jordan has responded positively to any comparisons to other players. I can only think of Kobe before this. For god sakes before one of the playoff games he hit the other teams locker room and told KD “lace up, it’s gonna be a long night for you” sound familiar?

We can finally move on to future GOAT Debates of: Michael Jordan vs Victor Wembanyama, Michael Jordan vs Anthony Edwards, Michael Jordan vs Luka Doncic, Michael Jordan vs Nikola Jokic, Michael Jordan vs Jalen Brunson, Michael Jordan vs Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Michael Jordan vs Ja Morant, et cetera, et cetera. Desperate senior citizen-LeBron James is refusing to retire because, after 21 years, LeBron James is still pathetically chasing Michael Jordan. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Unmentioned is the fact that those Celtic teams decided that Jordan was gonna get his points so they let him go and instead concentrated on stopping everyone else to win the game and the series, which they did. It's the basketball version of rope-a-dope.

Edwards got time, he's decent but, Jordan, nah. You can come close but, there are icons you'll never remake: another MJ & I'm talking about the king of pop, Bruce Lee, Pele, Karl Lewis, Usain Bolt, Iron Mike, Ali, Pac, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Jon Jones, Hulk Hogan just to name a few, the impact these celebrities had in their respective industries can only be replicated once in a Millenium? or maybe never.

Ja Morant just as even more explosive but immaturity- pause- but he will find his growth mentality- no doubt. He was in the lead as must see- now Ant filling the role- was supposed to be Zion- but injuries and discipline- mainly injuries messing up his rise. Those 3 players are the most fun to watch

I’m just still so happy that Jamal Murray ended LeBron James’ 2023-2024 NBA season in Game 5 when Jamal Murray dunked on LeBron James via a face-to-face, one-on-one posterization that will never be forgotten - Jamal Murray BAPTIZED LeBron James - with a nasty facial, followed by a game winner that ended LeBron James’ career/LA Lakers’ career via a 4-1 Gentlemen’s SWEEP in only ROUND ONE of the 2023-2024 NBA Playoffs. Michael Jordan is the GOAT! And Kobe Bryant is better than LeBron James. ♨️♨️♨️♨️♨️

Trash talking an entire team in their locker room is nowhere close to trash talking a single player on the court. Regardless of that players stature or history. Even rookies talk smack when they score on the court. No rookie would ever walk into the opposing teams locker room and start talking.

First off, Edwards doesn't even belong in the conversation. Not yet anyway. Second, they don't look anything alike, and neither does their game. Similarities, sure. But that's cuz we all grew up emulating MJ. Jimmy B. on the other hand, very similar style. Come back in 5 years, and if Ant has a few rings, then we can talk about this.

Jordan and Kobe had a level class and charisma that Edwards just doesn’t have. Maybe he will grow up a little bit and be able to hold himself like that one day, but right now I just see an immensely talented kid with an ego the size of the moon. Much like Ja Morant

Not yet on Jordan, but fearless vs killer instinct are two different things, not just scoring, but DEFENSE!!! Make an All Defensive team at least and then we can entertain everything else. I love this man though. The Game needs a new standout face Edwards is in his 4th year, he has accomplish 2 All Star Appearances In Jordans 4th year, He was the NBA Steals Leader, DPOY, NBA Scoring Champion, NBA MVP, All Defensive Team, on his 4th All Star Game, All Star MVP, Slam Dunk Champion Pump the brakes for one minute and lets just enjoy the moment for a second.
