The problem with the presidential election is how the two candidates are chosen. The way the primaries are used to select the final candidate is flawed at this point. From what I understand only 30% of the electorate for either party can vote because you have to be registered with one of the parties. That's 60% of the electorate. What about the other 40%? Don't we have a say it who runs. Primaries should be open and allow any registered voter to vote. Otherwise I feel like Republican or Democratic parties are deciding who runs in the presidential election.

Tina is a hero. What she exposed was the tip of the same iceberg that eventually put her in jail for doing her job. That’s not gone unnoticed. The smug will drain from their faces eventually and be replaced with the reality of actual federal consequences.

But isn't California specifically allowing non-citizens to vote? Couldn't they vote by mail?
