Chargers, Crown Vics, Chrysler 300s, Navigators, work trucks (running, manual, little to no rust, dents don't matter), Caprices of all years, amd even 90's Roadmasters. Coronavirus was supposed to bottom out the used market. It didn't. Yeah I was surprised with those prices. I mean changing a single front brake caliper and rotor on my 07 mazda 6 cost me 900 Euro work included (only dealer had the parts and I needed it ASAP) in central europe. I can easily see CL65 invoice being aroung 8-10k here. $750 for a driveshaft change incl. labour on a 22k luxury SUV? That's next to free. I can easily see an MB dealer asking 10x the price. Same with the motor mounts... like just the labour to have them removed would be 2000 EUR at least here. Having the G wagen with everything fixed by a guy who knows what he is doing for less than $30k (excluding headliner)? That's a bargain.

Nice W463!!! Instead of lifting the car 3" with an expensive lift kit, and resulting that the car will ride very bad, because there are a lot of changes on the suspension geometry, I would recomend to use a 1" budget lift kit, swaping the used shocks for a new ones with stock lenght, I would use the stock 17" wheels with some 1,25" spacers and AT tyres 265/70R17. It will ride like stock, and it will have an appearance of bigger vehicle, like an offroad special edition made by MB factory. And let’s not forget, Hoovie keeps the Ninja busy also, in addition to the Wizard. I know he does well enough from this channel to afford it, but it sure is fun listening to him whimper like us regular guys do when hit with the bill. That part made me laugh. I tell you which one I would take out of all those, I’d take that conversion van. Flashbacks to childhood, there.

Ya I love how Tyler acts like he's devastated at the bills but he loves buying junk cars and spending thousands to fix them up even though he can afford brand new supercars.

I have to agree. That van is beautiful. I'd so want to do a cross-country road trip in that, just to say it did it, and in style.

I'd say some one quick swapped that engine and sold the car off. Make sure that is a good engine, it might just be enough to sell the car last a few hundred miles before it blows again.

@@NuclearPineapple for the most part the M113 is probably one of the single most reliable Mercedes motors I can think of. I have seen 300+K miles on original motors with average maintenance.
