She is an utterly fascinating person and I do see her talents surpasses music, singing and songwriting ! She is talented in visual artistry and I am guessing much more ! Her sense of mystery captivates her audience as well. The fact that she protects herself by allowing the mystery to live is, IMO, her way to keep Creativity Sacred and Flowing ! Respect ! 🍃🌿🍃

Incredibly cool and different. She's always leaning into the wind and does so with such grace.

May you rest in peace Roback. This video is amazingly beautiful and must’ve been so difficult for Hope to help put it together. In the same extent just like your music theres a ray of hope that says “Leave it on” . Long live Mazzy Star.

I have seen more bands than the average music fan but I have never been able to see my dream concert... anything with Hope!!!!! I wish before I die I could see her. I live so close to California. I have flown to Europe to see other bands but I just have not been lucky enough to see any of Hope's bands! She is a true Goddess!!! I bet she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is so talented. Love, Lisa P.S. My husband and kids love her too❤💛💚💙💜⭐🌙☀🍀🐞💐🏇🏆🎶🎸🎤💋

groovy. cats, old photos... the beat, the strumming, dueling organ/guitar lead, and the harmonies kind of conjure a laurel canyon-california sound vibe for me. can't wait to hear the rest.

An easy-to-dig new song. To focus on just one of many likable things: Hope singing harmony! Rare to hear. Only one other example comes to mind of Hope overdubbing her voice to create 2-part harmony: "Cherry Blossom Girl," her collab. with the band Air. I love well-crafted vocal harmonies, and view Hope as having a rare talent few have for writing & delivering compelling melodies -- so would love to hear more of what she could do with creating vocal harmonies in her songs! Enjoyable video too,. And the Hope & the Warm Inventions & Mazzy Star cat connections keep growing in number...A pair of cats, and a pair of Hope vocal tracks harmonizing! Meow-wow.

Absolutely dig Hope's voice and the groove they always have 😀
A fine, alluring song, the strumming guitar reminds me of Thracey Thorne's Plain Sailing, but this is a unique song in itself....arguably the best song for this year so far! Touched my heart immediately and her best song since Fade into You with Mazzy Star. Still great at 50! Keep it up Hope!

Great song, really! (drums reminds me the amazing Broadcast of Trish Keenan ...). Looking good for the new album (i can't wait!); if you noticed, there is also Suki Ewers at 1:36 (more or less)
@ericmontfort62988 жыл бұрын
+Zuma71 Can you tell me which song from Broadcast are you referring to?
@Zuma718 жыл бұрын
+Eric Montfort hi Eric, not a song in particular... I'm referring about the sound of their first records, example "work and nonwork" (maybe try with "The world backwards", first thing that comes in my mind); the band, also, had changed many drummers ... A sort of similar backbeat here from Colm O' Ciosoig, a great drummer and musician It will be interesting who'll play in the new album...
