I had serious cognitive declines occur with loss of coordination and visual spacial issues.... i have near zero working memory, i also lost communication and learning skillsets, memory storage and retrieval issues... The veterans ADMINISTRATION for 15 Years... never mentioned ATAXIA, called my issues just stress, mental health. Yesterday, i saw a civilian neurologist... gave my symptoms the name ataxia, got stiff person syndrome test today. I documented my struggles... for a decade and a half, with no answers, just gaining my own understanding.

While vitamin E deficiency can mimic make the symptoms of ataxia, typically when someone is being seen for these symptoms the very first thing they do is an extensive blood panel which can confirm a deficiency or move on to the next possibility.
