Tatsächlich hat mich Horizon richtig abgeholt. Selbst das DLC war absolut top 👍🏻 . Was mich allerdings bisschen wundert ist, warum du jetzt zu anderen Ergebnissen kommst als bei deinen vorherigen Videos. And here I thought it was just me lol. Absolutely love Horizon. The world, the characters, the aesthetic and lore, the story, but somehow not the combat. The combat irks me and I find myself keeping it on easy just so I can lose my life to exploring every ridiculous nook and cranny

About the part at 7:30 and after, the brightness. My LG 71UN doesn't emit more light in HDR Mode because the technique behind is to cover and weaken the maximum emitted light. Which means, HDR makes the image darker. So, you can't make it brighter, only by distorting the colors. The only thing you can do is lowering the environment lights in the room and balancing the color space (in the HDR settings) to see the darker details better.

Two questions: 1) Your recommended settings are the same for playing HFW with VRR (60+ fps) or you think that in VRR we will get black level raised and should use Fine Tune Dark Area on LG TVs? 2) What is your color temperature setting on LG OLED for playing HDR games - if its WARM 50, don't you think its too yellow in some cases? The Black Level Raise with VRR on is very low and just in a complete dark room visible. For HFW I would not use the FTDA Settings

nice video.. i hope you try using DTM ON with Calibrate 4000 nits or 25 cliks. the result on game is not over brighnest. I have playing PS5 and XBOX X with my LG C2 if i playing DTM ON with Calibrate HGIG First not much good than you calibrate DTM alone. Hope You testing it.

Best HDR games in 2023 for me: Resident evil 4, Dead Space Remake (even with incorrect max brightness), Alan wake 2. Other mentions: Spider man 2 (not many options to show off it's good hdr, but when it does, it's good), jedi survivor (feels a bit washed, but enjoyable). My best personal ever cyberpunk on PC after applying fixes for black level floor, wish it's max nits value wasn't implemented with film grain in mind (who thought it was a good idea?), but it's still amazing.

Can someone help me pinpoint the reason why when i enable game mode on my TV i can no longer use Dynamic Tone Mapping? I have a Hisense U7H which has very good ratings and boasted as a great budget gaming TV. It has great HDR, 120hz,VRR,ALLM and other great gaming features. im just curious why it disables DTM when i turn game mode on because GamingTech seems to be able to do both. if i use another picture mode say like Theater Night or Filmmaker Mode i can use DTM as soon as i enable Game Mode it turns it off and the option is greyed out. Is it okay to game in other modes like Theater Mode while im playing games like Horizon then switch back to Game Mode when im playing competitive games like CoD? It just annoys me that it dIsables DTM. Can someone help me figure out why?

It's just annoying your have to adjust HDR all the time for every game, it really should be calibrated by the OS and left alone like SDR colour profiles and then in game you don't need to adjust gamma, contrast, brightness

Yes it is, Samsung S95C QD-OLED 🤩👍 I have the Samsung S95B QD-OLED at home and it is still amazing !! I can’t imagine how The S95C is probably incredible !!

The proper PS5 and PS4/Pro HDR configuration is to adjust at 0, 15 and 15 clicks... and then if the game has additional HDR settings, DO NOT TOUCH THEM... those settings should be ignored.

That's the proper setting for your screen 😉. And not all games are supporting the hdr calibration of the ps5. Some games have settings and they need to be adjusted
