Ever go back to a game you played years ago and the graphics look like utter crap from what your memory of the game was back then? If I played the updated version of this game without a side by side comparison I probably would even notice the upgrade because the upgrade is how I remember the original looking when it first was released and I played it. Lol. Some things are better left a memory.

why most comparison are using the prerendered cutscene to compared!?!? realtime gameplay and cutscenes matters.

Because it's showing the difference 😂 All the gameplay will show is more of the map but the differences are still here in the cutscenes Plus I'm pretty sure some cutscenes are real time. Not just conversations but actual cutscenes. They all might be since cutscenes definitely show the outfit you're wearing which wouldn't be possible if they were prerenderef

Looks like they made her face bigger like Forbidden West, she looks more younger, and slighty slimmer and prettier in the Original. Don't know how I feel about the lighting either, looks like every one is perfectly lit by a Hollywood lighting team at ALL times even at night. It doesn't look bad or anything, just too vibrate, and cartoony for me. The "Remastered" kid version of Aloy looks way better though.

@@TheMegatron673 The remaster trounces the original just for the more lively interractions with the NPCs, the better lightning and better graphics overall. I tried several times to replay HZD after Forbidden West but never lasted more than a few hours, I just couldn't stand the stiffness of the dialogues, now I'm replaying the remaster and it's like discovering a new game, even if the substance is the same.

@4zun14n Graphics wise the remaster doesn't even look like forbidden west if we being honest. Also i'm not buying a game just for lively interactions, better lighting and somewhat better graphics. I wouldn't mind getting forbidden west though honestly. I even have GOW3 remastered on ps4 and I still prefer GOW3 on ps3 because I noticed certain sections have graphical errors. For example when you are flying up the giant chains and dodging them boulders before you get to the labyrinth. Overall the original HZD doesn't have framerate issues at all and resolution is still good even today. Of course obviously the ps5 handles ps4 games a lot better. But i've already seen the review comparisons of this game.

@@TheMegatron673There are no such graphical errors in HZD remaster as those you describe from GOW3, and I played the game many times so I'd be able to spot those differences. And It's not a question of looking like Forbidden West either which is superior visually and gameplay wise (just the ability to swim underwater and fly through the clouds makes a huge difference in the second game). But the improvements are there, they are substantial, and very welcomed graphically of course, but also performance wise since it's a smooth 60fps with way less pop in than the original game. So if you have a PS5 and the PS4 game digitally or phisically, or if you have it on PC, upgrading it for just 10$ to be able to play this definitive version should be a no brainer.
