My piercer said to never get it pierced with the curved barbell. You're supposed to use surface jewelry

If that was so black/white then why are vertical eyebrows always pierced with curved barbell? Those are surface piercings too

@@mezelf6842 vertical eyebrow are technically a surface piercing, but they aren’t done on a flat surface. There’s a curve where vertical eyebrow piercings are done, which is why they use a curved barbell. Horizontal eyebrow piercings are normally done on the flattest area possible to reduce the risk of rejection. When piercings are done on a flat surface, surface bars lower the risk of rejection because of the way they are designed.

Surface piercings should not have a straight bar. It needs a curved bar

@@ellewright6991 most surface piercings are done with surface bars because there’s a lower risk of rejection, this includes a horizontal eyebrow piercing. The rejection rate is higher for horizontal eyebrow piercings when done with a curved barbell.

I get mine today at 3pm and conch done all left side stuff lol I'll be getting gems or Colors or flat ball spiked or half circle not sure if it will be a staple surface barbell or curved Ill see then lol 🤣

About twenty years ago i had horizontal piercings over both eyes. Yes, i am that old. 😂 Im about to redo then myself.
