Yeah @George...come back to 2020 where “food” is made in a chemistry lab. My eyes are rolling so far back into my head. Dude, the way our ancestors ate is a major clue for us to know what our bodies are meant to run on and what they run most efficiently on. I assure you they didn’t die from their nutrient poor diets. They did, however, die from infections, injuries, starvation, child birth complications and old age.

I'm a 51 year old post-menopausal woman (my periods stopped several years ago) and being on carnivore for a few months has definitely rejuvenated me in the old downstairs department lol - I have a libido again after years of having basically no inclinations in that direction! This was something I didn't really expect and it seems to have re-opened a side of life I thought was just finished now - I was on a more regular mixed keto diet for a few years previously but it never had this dramatic an effect on me! It's one of several reasons why I'm not giving up on it - I feel like a young woman again!

Mark Leatherwood I typically eat beef daily but add other meats like lamb, chicken, bacon, venison, bison etc. I mostly buy ground beef which is relatively low priced. Make burger patties, beef ground soup. Have raw egg yolks a few times a week. Make whole batch of chicken liver pate and put it on keto bread with an extra butter. I still have some low glycemic veggies like cabbages or avocado sometimes. But mostly 97% of my diet is meat based.

Finally!! Best explanation I've heard yet. I'm late stage perimenopause, 46. I've had symptoms since 39. I'm now 9 months carnivore and just about all symptoms are gone and transition has been way easier. The biggest difference was when I went high fat... at least 80 percent. But I'm def dying to hear from other menopausal carnivores. I feel alone! Completely disagree with hormone replacement though. Our ancestors didn't have that option. And they lived longer.

I am just now learning about carnivore I'm 61. I am trying to start carnivore this week. My testimony with menopause when I was 50 ones that I was waking up every hour during the night with a hot flash and unable to get a good night's sleep it was terrible I was desperate. My health was not good I had lots of muscle pain and adrenal fatigue. I took adrenal glandular supplements which helped a lot. These can be found on Amazon and they are from New Zealand where they make adrenal glandular from grass eating cows. As I was searching on the internet I came across an article that said I needed to alkaline my body and that meant lots of vegetables and no meats and cheeses and so I cut out the meat and cheese and in 3 days my hot flashes were gone. I was juicing vegetables celery cucumber apples and and kale and lemons I continued this for 2 years. I did not have meat for those 2 years. Then I did try eating beef I would get a hot flash. But when I ate chicken I was fine. So I'm a little weary of starting this high beef carnivore diet.

It was an amazing interview and inspired me to get into nutrition based primarily for women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant. I have a lot of friends who have had issues keeping healthy themselves (gestational diabetes), conceiving, and delivering a healthy baby so she really made me want to get into that field to help others. Currently taking prereqs to be an ultrasound technician with emphasis in nutrition. Hoping in the next year that the literature currently being taught changes and there will be more supportive for the ketovore/carnivore lifestyle and optimal health. I love this doctor and the information she has to share with us. Thank you Kelly for posting her IG which I recently just joined so I appreciate that very much! If you have her again, please ask about menopause due to hysterectomy. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer 2 years ago, and I had my uterus, ovaries, and Fallopian tubes removed. We tried hormone patches, and they helped for a little while. She kept having to up my dosage, and each quit working so I stopped using them. I couldn’t tell that I’d stopped so I know they weren’t helping as much as I thought. My doctor also told me after surgery, that my ovaries probably hadn’t worked correctly in several years. This is probably why I started getting hot flashes at age 22. I’m now 40, 100% Carnivore for 9 months, and feeling awesome, minus the hot flashes. lol

Hello Kelly and Doctor Fit, this was a fantastic interview! Can you ask the doctor if this is pellets inserted HRT? I’m 60 been through, all these stages. Past menopause, love the fact that doctor Fit is so knowledgeable about this subject! Not a lot of information out there. 😃why shouldn’t we keep getting estrogen, if it makes us feel like a queen 👸! Going to look into this! You Kelly are the best! With your guests!👍🏼

I really enjoyed this video Kelly... thank you as always! I am newly carnivore & I'm also in the midst of bioidentical hormone replacement - I'm postmenopausal, so I found this interview to be very informative! I really like Dr. Fit & Fabulous!😉 I'm really looking forward to your upcoming video too & I really appreciate you bringing the carnivores in my age range together. I am excited to hear their experiences when it comes to these matters!

Great video! I had awful cycle issues and no doctor was able to figure it out until I had a biopsy and they found I had hyperplasia (one doctor had even been prescribing pure estrogen to see if it helped my heavy, never ending periods - thankfully I didn't take it too long but I had been taking a low estrogen birth control for 15 years before it stopped helping my marathon periods). Since I had pre-cancer I finally agreed to the hysterectomy last year and my ovaries went out too. I had zero symptoms of menopause! I had started carnivore about a week before the surgery. Doctor said I was very lucky, but I have a feeling luck had nothing to do with it. I did struggle with some weight gain (on top of my existing obesity) about 7 months after surgery but it's going down again

I love this video! Super informative for those of us women who are already at the perimenopause-menopause stage of life. Dr. Fit & Fabulous talks a lot about estrogen dominance but what if your estradiol levels are in the toilet…almost non existent? I’ve only just started carnivore and am praying this helps with the roller coaster I’ve been on with my hormones for the past 4 years since miscarriage. I’m only 2 weeks in to carnivore. 😊

My anxiety went away with ERT/HRT. I am 54 and 10 days in to Carnivore. I put on about 5 kgs in a year after starting HRT and I needed to do something about the belly I was developing for the first time in my life. I read The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung and lost the 5 kgs in a few months but was worried about my protein intake. Carnivore makes more sense to me - especially as I am sheep and beef farmer! I also feel great.

A Chili-Pad can really help with regulating bed temps. In winter you can warm your bed before getting in and in summer you can cool it. Best thing I bought when I was going through menopause.

I enjoyed this interview...I am carnivore & I love my bhrt. I don't understand why so many carnivores seem to think it's a cure-all. I feel so much better at 60 with carnivore - but I'm not going to go off my bioidentical hormone replacement. Afterall, it's not for symptom relief only (which I haven't had in a verrrry long time), but I feel strongly that it improves certain aspects of my health for quality & longevity of life... just like any other supplement or biohacking that one may do.

Decided to try keto Aug 2020 but took it slow to Sept 2020. Had my last period so far in Aug. (turned 55 yo in Oct) I've lost 25 lbs and 9 inches off my waist. Now considering carnivore for my MS and other autoimmune issues.

I doubt Mc Donalds would allow your container in their kitchen (if they do, great of course), but maybe they could line their plastic container with a piece of paper? That would be a short term barrier from the plastic, until you could get the burgers into another container.

Awesome video Kelly! My mom is almost completely carnivore except for some avocado and some small amounts of vegetables. She told me Last week that she gave away her eye glasses because she can see better than ever now! My whole life my mom has always said that her eyes were bad. Now she doesn't need her glasses! I told her that I think that it's all of the meat that she is eating and she should keep it up! Meat is good for every part of the body that's for sure! I plan to stay carnivore for the rest of my life if I can. I have way too many things that it has helped me with to list here I'm going to be 47 next month and I have never felt better! Thank you for all that you do!😊👍👍❤🌻🌻
