Hornby TT 120 rebuilt Royal Scot project

This started a long time ago when talking to Lincoln Locos about a possible use for the Duchess chassis when it came out. At the time I stupidly thought it would be a slightly modified A1/3 design so I provided the basic dimensions to fit that chassis.
Once the Duchess was here on Thursday, and the Royal Scot arrived yesterday, I realised that Hornby had made a completely different design and there was no way it was going to work.
Plan B, I would use the A1 chassis, the Duchess tender chassis and somehow fit the Duchess valve gear to the A1 chassis. The first two parts have been successfully done. The body to the chassis (once cut down) fitted a treat so now I have to think about the valve gear.
I do have plans in place for the Duchess chassis, hopefully.

It is painted and nearly fully lined now. It will be finished in a couple of hours apart from the nameplates which could be a while yet.

Yes, I have no interest in DCC or sound.

@@garryhall5552 great. Do you wire different sections to different controllers then? Looks awesome by the way.

@@BaseSet_77 both circuits have independent controllers, some parts are switchable from one to the other like the double slip is off/outer/inner and the bay platforms switched from the double slip. Both platforms can operate from either to work wrong line to the crossovers. The goods yard has a separate controller but is switchable to the outer.
