Best advice--work with a qualified Nutritionist to help with health issues, learn how to adjust foods to address the issues and get balanced. Also, a Nutritionist will help their clients learn how to eat for them, personalized nutrition! Stop the insanity of following fad diets, or diet recommendations that are not designed for all people. We are all unique and have specific nutritional needs, which change depending on stage of life, health status, and more. Worst Advice--the 80s--low fat diet. I remember many commercials, infomercials, and more that were really convincing on "fat makes you fat". Sadly, this all came from a study that was re-evaluated in the mid 2000s and found to have no evidence to support its conclusion or recommendations to eat low fat (study also had a bias--sugar industry had financial input)
