Hey Laura here's some tips for bonding :) So I think when you come to the barn early before the girls get Stella seperate the rest of the horses and just groom Stella no halter just pet her maybe even if you feel comfortable sit on her with just her halter on? Take her out to graze on really short grass if you can idk if she an eat grass or not. You see how the girls are always playing with the horses? Well get envolved. I never see you really playing with them. You can even go so far and tell Gabby hands off. When you ride her, be like Gabby. 'Get her in trouble.' Last of all take charge of Stellas care if you haven't allready. Be the one to clean her stall. ESPECIALLY be the one to feed her. Last of all I swear! Teach Stella tricks. Get her brain working. Be the one to lunge her. By moving their feet you're showing you're the leader of the "herd." I don't think you have a bind with Stella because you are letting the girls be with her not your self. You're letting the girls play with her. Now idk what happens behind the camera but maybe for a change be the one to play with Stella!

I feel really bad for Laura. I know Stella has issues etc and she’s a family horse but it must be frustrating to be working so hard for a bond with her to get nothing in return. I really wish they had an extra stall so Laura could go out and find the perfect horse that she could work not only on her riding with but who appreciated everything she does like storm and gabby. This was hilarious 😂 Laura try lowering the tone of your voice. When horses communicate with each other the higher pitched tones are saved for play/warning each other. Lower tones are used to greet each other/calm.
