I still can’t believe ‘The horse’ had such a shady past . I grew up on Horsin Around and watching this intro with the new allegations surfacing , gives me such discomfort . Just goes to show how HollyWoob can cover up such dark crimes .

I mean, the show’s creator was a gay man caught having sex with another man. The show’s youngest actress grew up on drugs and died from an overdose. I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire crew had a history of dealing with weed.

This show was my childhood!! We didn't have a lot of money after my dad left so mom had to work a lot and I'd often come home to an empty house after school. This show would always be airing around the time I got home, so I'd make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and pour myself some juice, and then I'd settle in front of our terrible box tv to watch Horsin' Around before doing my homework. Being an only child and with my dad having left and mom always working, I was a lonely kid, but watching this show always made me feel better. For 30 minutes every day, I felt like I had a home. It's so sad to think that the creator, Herb Kazzaz, and Sarah Lynn, the girl who played Sabrina are both dead now, and The Horse got mixed up in some controversy, got sued and then arrested. It kinda made my childhood feel violated, but at the same time, I can't bring myself to hate Horsin' Around. It's a huge part of my childhood, and even now I'll watch the show just to feel better after a long day of getting kicked in the urethra.

Horsin' Around was much better than those idiotic knockoffs like Mr. Peanutbutter's House and the ghastly Full House. Another one of the era, Too Many Cooks had its moments though. I, for one, liked the Horsin' Around's fourth season when the Horse was President of the United States for a season and moved back to Chicago in the season finale. I saw BoJack Horseman at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Actually, now that I think about it, this show doesn't get enough credit for all the great character actors it got to guest star! I mean, who can forget the episode where Deebo from Friday played Ethan's Gym Coach that bullies him? That episode taught two great lessons-"It's okay to tell an adult you're being bullied, even when the bully is an adult" and "bullies can be reformed" (as The Gym Coach decided to lay off of Ethan when he and Goober bonded over their love of bag pipes). Of course, there's also the episode where Edie McClurg plays Goober's wacky Aunt Sarah but the best episode is probably when Character Actress Margo Martindale played a woman claiming to be the children's Mother. That episode *sniffs* gets me every time! It's especially heart breaking when, at the end, the test results come back and, as it turns out, she's not their mother after all!

My personal favorite is the one where Olivia is afraid she's going to look like a total loser for not having a prom date, and keeps hearing about the awesome dates all her friends will have so she lies to create the perfect boyfriend. And she keeps lying making it bigger every time from being a real handsome actor, to an acting football player, to an acting football player in space. In the end she's at the prom everyone's wondering where her date is and she starts crying saying it was all a lie only to find out, all her friends had lied about their perfect date too, and they were all with perfect losers. Her and Tony finally slow dancing and kissing at the end after a FIVE season wait as worth all of it!

oh yeah I remember him, I had seen that guy in spot roles in other sitcoms and stuff and then he hit big with ER. whatever, Bojack was a far bigger star in the 80s and 90s.

I remember watching this show back in the 90’s. I would always come home to binge watch it and I would always have a blast. Little Sabrina was my favorite character, so you bet your ass I cried myself to sleep when they announced Sarah Lynn passed away. I’m glad this show happened, me and my friends are gonna watch Secretariat when it comes out.

I had such fond memories of watching this show. I’m never going to be able to view this show the same way again after Sarah Lynn’s death and what that Bojack guy admitted in that interview. I know there’s a remastered version coming that doesn’t include the Horse, but it just won’t be the same.

Well, BoJack Horseman (who plays the Horse) actually got pretty big recently. If you saw "Secretariat", that's actually him playing the main character. There was that whole Oscar fiasco surrounding the movie, but I'm not gonna get into that now, suffice to say I think his performance was pretty damn good in that. It's kinda like how Bryan Cranston went from playing Malcolm's dad to Walter White, that's how good it is. Sarah Lynn, you probably heard, passed away from an overdose a few months ago. Can't say I didn't see it coming, all things considered. As for the other two kids... I don't really know. Someone on Reddit said they saw Bradley Hitler-Smith working retail somewhere, but it's Reddit, so you should take that with a grain of salt. No clue what happened to Joella Clark, though.

The first time I watched this I thought it was pretty cool, but now it just feels weird the more I watch it. You see Sarah Lynn and know exactly where her life is heading. You see Bojack and you know what he was going through at the time. You know everything. Makes this series so much more believable when you get extras like this

Damn, Horsin' Around really set an important ideal for comedic sitcoms of the late 80's. When the show ended in 1996, I was so sad. As for Bradley, I knew the guy in real life! He actually owned a tool shop in Olympia, Washington. As for his middle name, he's of German descent...let's just say that.

Thanks for uploading, this has been a nice trot down memory lane! I wasn't there for its hay day, but I grew up watching reruns on TV at our old place in Fillydelphia. Hearing about Sarah Lynn and seeing Horseman's interview was a real night-mare. It's definitely uncomfortable revisiting these old episodes with this new information having come to light. I think it was no secret that both Sarah Lynn and Bojack Horseman were a bit un-stable, but man that was horrible news to hear. However, when I herd about "Around" it sounded kind of like a foalish idea to me. I think it's worst to erase the past than to buck up and acknowledge it. But at least we get a Bluray release at all, guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. Given I'm sure there are some neigh-sayers out there who'll disagree with me.

Even though as a kid both my family and I preferred Mr Peanutbutter’s House, for it’s zanier and off the wall comedy, as well as topical commentary, I’ve developed a respect for the simpler, more wholesome, if cheesy, plot lines that Horsin’ Around offered. R.I.P Sarah Lynn.

I was expecting Bojack Horseman's finale to be him in purgatory in a recreated universe of Horsin' Around. This time around though, the conflicts and challenges would be way more realistic. To put it lightly, that didn't happen.
