You can indeed “just put it in reserve”. The risk then though is it being intercepted before they get to shoot… it’s just as risky as starting on the board…

Land Raider is probably my fav for it being an all rounder and pointed fairly. Not the best, but you can’t go wrong with it.

Predator is my big tank killer. I Run it with the magna melta cannon and charge it 14" towards the nearest land raider/Spartan/Kratos/Sicaran. Get in to 18" range and you have 3 x melta shots. A pair of them will generally kill that big tank, and give your opponent the problem of having to focus them in their next turn.

The Kratos is so awesome! I’m working on getting 2 done for my Armored Spearhead. Having Flare Shield means it’s probably gonna shoot for the whole game. Especially with a Spartan being a more juicy target. I keep going back and forth on loading it up with all the guns, and just keeping it cheap with Flashburn. Being Death Guard means I can do 2 nasty Las/Melta that moves forward in a flash to really melt anything in their way.

On the Rhino with multi-melta, I actually thought maybe just the combi-melta might be a good shout as it's more points-efficient but since the Rhino could easily get blown up anyway just having that one hail-mary melta attack when you deliver your troops could be a good idea.

Predators get good when you have lots of tanks and your opponent can't just delete them. How do you rate a full Volkite Kratos with flareshields against all the Lascanon Heavy Supportsquads? It can tank the Return fire quite nice and has pinning + more output against infantry then the other Kratos loadouts (the battlecanon has the problem that heavy support are heavy unit type and rerole their saves against it)

I built mine with all volkite sponsons and the Kratos Battle cannon as the main gun.

That sounds like fun, I magnetized my Kratos fully so quite nice to hear there's a use for a full-tilt choom wagon.
