Back in 2008, I was hospitalized for 3 days in Riverside Community Hospital for sepsis and the bill came out to 10K. I had health insurance from work and only paid $100 for my ER visit. Everything else was paid by my insurance. It's important to be covered by health insurance in the US.

Health Insurance is very important

Wow, that’s a lot! I gave birth via CS here in the Bay and we were having problems with insurance since my husband switched workplaces(hospital), so by that time we don’t have any coverage when i gave birth. The hospital helped us thru financial assistance I think and we didn’t pay anything. Was definitely thankful for that.

Yes. Theres a process for that but not all are qualified for that

I am thankful we have a universal healthcare here in Canada aside from insurance from my work. With my 2 kids I only pay the parking fee in the hospital when I gave birth 😊

Yes. Health benefits in canada is better than here in US 😅

US health insurance is a must. Otherwise, may penalty ka upon filling your income tax returns. Karamihan ngaun, instead of paying, they will claim they're in a low income to avail free from federal or state health insurance . Kung may utang ka di mo agad binayaran after a year mapunta sya sa debt collectors otherwise it will affect your credit scores and card, mkaroon ka ng bad record.

Do you mind if I ask, how much is your monthly health insurance? Is that insurance from your work? We’re in Canada everything is free pgdating sa hospital care it feels good yung first time n nanganak ako ni cents wala. Sana satin sa Pilipinas ganon din.

Insurnce from work po. May max limit sa copay kpag nagpapacheckup kme including labs. Once mareach po un, free na po laht ng hospital bils. I think it depends po sa insurance coverage. Coz others ay wlang bnbyran po

If you work you have insurance to pay for it, if you dont work then there is welfare. Alam ko yan 3 anak ko wala akong binayaran ni isang kusing😊
@proudlakerfan3 ай бұрын
But why do you have to depend on welfare? Why don't you work and pay for your own healthcare?
@wayneandsheila3 ай бұрын
Not all here in US are qualified for welfare. We have insurance from work and pay it also with copay
@ey15483 ай бұрын
@proudlakerfan baliw 😄 you don't have to depend on welfare. What I'm saying is you are covered wether you work or not. Been here in the US for 33 yrs. Ussually work insurance have very little deductible before you use out of pocket expense or if you dont have you welfare insurance cost nothing.
@ey15483 ай бұрын
@wayneandsheila if everyone is qualified for welfare you call that communism 😄. It's not the copay that counts it's the deductible. How much is your deductible?
@ChihungWong-o3y3 ай бұрын
a lot of ppl from other countries went to U.S. Cali and gave birth. They only paid couple thousand in total. The rest of the bill paid from US welfare 😆that’s why US ppl need to pay a lot 😢
@wayneandsheila3 ай бұрын
Oh. But not all are qualified for welfare. We’re disapproved. Ahahaha
@margotvillarojo57223 ай бұрын
process maybe … but still indebt all the same bottom line
@wayneandsheila3 ай бұрын
It depends on people if you’re in debt or not wherever country you are. The bottom line here is not all are in debt.
