I won't ask which is better, being clean or having Judd back, because that's like asking which is your favorite child. :-)

it is important to mention dog is still in training. most think train service dog means 100% and medical conditions are in state of change will mean a dogs training is adjusted as training is necessary.

When my dad was hospitalized a lot when I was a kid we used to play a game because we also had front row seats to the helicopter pad. 1 helicopter = 100 its 1 double decker bus = 80 pts 1 ambulance = 50 pts Any other 1:st responder vehicle = 40 pts Bikes = 5 pts Whoever spotted the vehicle in question would get to claim the point.

hospital rooms where I am definitely don't look like that. the tvs are usually broken and then theres like one hard chair for guests to sit on and then the actual hospital bed. what the. i couldnt bring that many people either, just 2 at a time 0.0 and 2 family at that.

Have you considered teaching Harlow how to pee on a pad? That way if you ended up alone at the hospital or no one could take her home one night she could pee on a pad in your hospital room. The pads are fairly small when folded up and could easily be kept in your backpack or in Harlow's vest. Of course, picking them up off the floor could pose a challenge for you with your POTS, but I'm sure the nurses would be willing to toss them in the trash for you. It's also a great thing to have in case you ever need to leave Harlow alone all day.

M S A dog shouldn't be left on their own an entire day...
@michelesandler72457 жыл бұрын
Of course it's not ideal, but for people who work all day there is no other option. For me, the pee pads just give me some wiggle room so I don't have to worry about my dog having an accident if I need to stay at work late or need to do something on the way home. Holding in pee isn't healthy for a dog, so I wasn't really interested in training my dog to hold her pee for 12 hours. She only uses the pads when she really needs to go and I'm not home.
@Satchiate7 жыл бұрын
I would try to avoid pee pads as long as it's not required, since it's possible for housetrained dogs to reverse in their housetraining and decide that going in the house is preferred.
