Way to tough it out and feel that surge. I watched, feeling the miles go by with my mind remembering, remembering. I want to, but cannot anymore because of a very late in life heart issue. My 6 mile run-walk really feels like a 20 miler. Berlin will be nicer to you!

Good running Donato, the hills are definitely good fitness strength training for Berlin, what’s your training look like from now to Berlin, I did a pb in the marathon last year, last few weeks did shorter runs & lower milage, but some faster pace short runs & some short 30sec hills sprints helped, whatever happens Donato have fun, enjoy the process, enjoy Berlin, soak up the fun, you got this!!,all inn! Given the hills, and non carbon shoes, the overall pace was great, so a deserved first place in the age group. I think you will find this is the perfect marathon prep, and this is a building block, if not to a sub 3, to close to that. Congrats.
