Hot sticky yucky morning with the kitties 😸

Hi Kids hot and sticky in Minnesota too. Look at those babies waiting for their goodies.. their coats so beautiful to se. Here it is hot too and mostly high humidity. Our reiver downtown Northfield is down some but still high. We might get more rain tonight. Ugh . I was able to visit my son who had the liver transplant some years back and now am working to get him a place larger and with cook and nurse to pop in. I hear you talking about the wood on the porch NO I would not use a power washer on that porch... as you are so right that it would tear up your wood. My Willow House in Virginia Mn was just that size.. and original 1900 wood from the lumber mill that had been on the lake there in the 1900's. I had painted it grey too just like yours... and also hosed it off as I took my cat and two birds out with me each morning to do our prayer work..... and why would you use a power washer on yours as there is no need.. love your wood and your house looks vintage too I love it.. My whole house was built in the 1900 I was only the second owner. The whole house had chipped paint of gold... but the wood under was special wood rare pine that did not deteriorate.... Yes love the fact you love your coffee too... me too it keeps me going. ha ha just put on some.. wonder what kind you use. Folgers regular is mine usually but I tried CHUCK FULL 'O NUTS and it si really good. was on sale at Target.. mmmm so mix those two in my tiny pot. I am looking for an old 1940's four cup perk pot you sent on the stove like my gram had when I grew up in her house as a child... dad in WW 2 and Mom working....... we would be good neighbors for one another ha ha we love helping people, love our cats and I had ten dogs. six mustang horses, a llama Carolos and two Nubian goats Pansey and Iris the moved to the old house in Virginia Mn like your house. and my husband left me when Erick my son got sick.... so I turned it in to a Bed and Breakfast upstairs. It is not a big house.. thin in design t he Iron Range of Mn has houses like that as they rented out the top parts for income and lived in the bottom, ....... so I painted the upstairs, fixed it up and had a bit of business as when Walt Left me I had no ss nothing.. and though I am a teacher of students at risk.. had no job.. .... was in a pickle./.. but God showed me how to get out of it and I learned to do the B and B and had people for about a year two a week maybe 89 a couple NOW a B and B would get 300 a might..!!!!! That is so ! stupid I would never charge anyone that kind of money..... Erick wanted to come down here to the Blind School area where he had gone to high school because he was so bullied in the ELY Schools and I got him down here again then bu more miracles. State Serivces for the Blind helped me.. he is legally blind with no depth perception or peripheral vision ... so that is why I am down here plus i lost that house back to Wells Fargo.. it was ok they helped me move and bought it back and gave me ten thousand to move with and start fresh........ so here I am in an apartment.. it is so hard to be in an apartment but I just right now am giving thanks to have a roof over my head.. I miss sprinkling like you do.. miss my porch.. and yard.. but would not change anything ..the past is over./ and I want to move forward. ... hope your coffee is good. Bless you and hope you called Salvation Army for help.. I had to when Walt left me with the house, the 800 dollar a month steam bill.. and nothing.... The Salvation Army saved me.. paid some of the bills, i got food each week going over to their place... and support mentally . Love to you and God Bless you.. hope your neighbor is ok..
