It's unlikely, but if you were to get caught moving firewood across county lines, it's a pretty hefty fine.

I thought the same, but then I look at the bigger picture and God created for all, so we must pay it back. Loved this comment though, would save in a bug out situation to have on hand. God Bless

I saw the UP2 in the thumbnail and I had to watch this video...amazing job 😊 ...just a quick FYI: the ground sheet for the UP2 makes a great fill in ground sheet for your hussar plus until such time you purchase an actual ground sheet from pomoly...and after you buy the pomoly ground sheet you can still use the UP2 ground sheet underneath for even more comfort

I have many comments as usual. I found the dewalt brand of 8" 20volt saw at home depot in fergus falls and comes as tool only. I had the same batterys from other tools. Works great. Im glad pomoly has there wood stove smoke pipe to the corner to allow a bit bigger pans. And as always its fun to see leo. It makes no diff. Stick size the 1 he had must have been 3 and a half feet long. The pomoly case makes a good wood hauler. Im glad you found leos chuck-it ball my area in central mn. Only got 2" of snow in this last storm but your area i think got almost 10". Thanks for the fun video again.
@S.W.OUTDOORS9 ай бұрын
I'm sure the dewalt one would work well also. I just went with the Milwaukee because I have so many batteries and tools already. The older pomoly stoves had the stove pipe right in the middle so it was almost impossible to cook on. Glad they finally addressed that issue with the newer ones. I live about 50 miles south of where I filmed this video and had no snow on the ground when I got home. Pretty weird winter so far. I think the hot tenting is coming to an end soon.
@bonpecheur45659 ай бұрын
That really was a cold one this time , I guess this is why you cut so much wood 😅 . Do you ventilate the shelter a bit while you use the stove , any CO2 detector inside ? Do you have any issues with condensation ? The drone shot near the end showing the drift snow on the lake was spectacular, as if Mother nature made a sculpture out of it 😮 We had some really warm temperature in the Montreal area this week , record breaking for february, what about Minnesota ? Spring is getting an early start this year . Thanks for the video , alway's nice to watch them
@S.W.OUTDOORS9 ай бұрын
I always like to have extra wood just incase I get hurt or the truck wont start. The tent has a small vent at the bottom by the stove I keep open to let fresh air in. I almost always have at least one or both windows open parts way to vent some heat out. This tent has almost zero condensation inside due to the double wall design. I don't use a CO2 detector but I wouldn't tell someone not to use one. I only burn nice dry wood and the stove burns really efficiently with no smoke inside the tent so I don't worry about the CO2. I live about 50 miles south of where I filmed this video and had no snow at home. It's been a record breaking winter here also. I think the hot tenting trips are about over for the year.
@ReneVandyk9 ай бұрын
Here a tip I don’t know if this helps is to put a damper were your wood stove if that saves the heating less getting up to put wood on😊
@S.W.OUTDOORS9 ай бұрын
I have a damper on the chimney but if you dampen the stove to much you can get a build up of creosote inside the pipe.

Leo was using an educator mini e collar. I use the tone feature on it to call him back if he gets too far away or if I lose sight of him.

Did you cut all that firewood with one battery??? What brand and model saw was that??? Have fun stay safe.
@S.W.OUTDOORS9 ай бұрын
I cut all the wood you saw in the video with one battery and that was some really hard oak. I was using the m18 Milwaukee hatchet and its been a great tool. I have used it on many trips and it saves a ton of time.

Wow, I have to say, and I watch all the bushcraft videos, like all of them. Do you watch any? Like Xander or Shawn? Anyway, fantastic editing, drone, music and composition of shots- everything is flawless, but... What is up with interjecting something about you into your videos? Do you laugh, cry? Find anything frustrating? Do you have emotions? Maybe it's just your style- and I really love the content, but I feel like you're missing in the videos, like, the why you're doing it, what was your week like, why are you out, what makes you do this. I just would like to know more about you and what is the incentive to do this? Anyway, great fun and I'll always watch, but would like to see more of YOU in the videos. Oh, and throw the damn ball! ;)
