Hi, Sandy. I'm the guy who showed Paul the cooking tip. If you or any of your viewers are going to do this, for safety PLEASE make sure you use 'PARCHMENT PAPER', and not greaseproof paper. Parchment papers silicone coating stops it from catching light, but greaseproof paper will burn and set on fire once its oil coating melts off. Cheers!

@@WiltshireMan P.S... Also use "unbleached" parchment paper. As the name suggests it has not been chemically bleached white. You don't really want to cook on chemically treated paper. Get the brown stuff like what Paul is using.

Some really good pics there Sandy. (Love the long exposure shot to bring out the light in the sky.) Have to agree that the 'Big Boy' took the honours. I have a Wilkinson folding saw (much smaller blade) which I bought from my local garden centre more years ago than I care to remember, but it can still shear through a 4" bough in a trice. Bow saws are great, but the pruning saw design can get into really tight spaces where a bow saw will hang up. Great that we can all now start to get out again, and I look forward to more of your adventures. (Great tip from Paul!!!) TTFN.

Well on the mend now Sandy, really good to see ! Good to see Paul on your patch too. Paul has an excellent channel and I find his gear reviews and tips really interesting and of value when looking to get extra kit, but good to see him using a bit of Gortex Army surplus!. You did really well on the saw front too mate, well done there. As for the boots, I have had a pair of them for over twenty five years believe it or not, still got them. I have had them resoled twice, but the uppers keep on going, if you look after the uppers they stay waterproof. Well, resistant for a long time, and I've stood in streams for over an hour with no water ingress. Food looked good again mate, cant beat a bit of stake and a couple of beers when your camping. Superb to see you back out mate, an excellent entertaining video as always. Keep up the good work, best wishes to all in the abode of the Wiltshire man.

Congrats on your first camp, great that you got over Covid! Life is for living and you’re certainly doing that. Any idea if you’re attending any knife shows to see any of your knives? I’ll be over from Ireland to secure one. Paul

Just to confirm: You have the "Silky" (356-36) - Bigboy 2000 saw there. NOT the "Gomboy" series. Probably the best folding saw in the world (for the money).

A nice collaboration camp that. Good to see you out. You were getting a bit tongue twisted with your GOMBOY, BIGBOY descriptions at one stage. 🤦‍ Shall go look at Paul's video.
