This is so super cool! I also want! I'm sitting here in front of the shitty TV and I'm watching a guy pick the best day to go camping. Really cool, especially when it's stormy and snowing outside and you're sitting in a cozy tent or small cabin or mobile home. I would swap immediately. By. Alien Ware

I have watched hundreds of great outdoor camping video’s in the winter, before, during, and after a winter storm, I watched them build shelters, campfires, beds etc. but what I have never seen is anyone build a latrine (toilet). They don’t have to demonstrate using it, but at else show that you have one, or some new modern day method designed for camping. No one can go three days camping without relieving themselves, its part of life, human nature, nothing to be shamed about.

@Scorge1202 жыл бұрын
It's a dam/swamp area in the summer months, this spot in particular is one of the more accessible places to camp only 40 min from where I live. The ground was relatively flat which is why I chose it.
@IQNaivalulevu Жыл бұрын
I also noticed the fence. This is not camping in the wild. A genuine outdoorsperson would not camp out in the open unless one is ice fishing on a frozen lake. It may even be so that his vehicle is only parked a few meters away hence the huge sled. For a more genuine experience, the youtuber Lost Lakes is the one to watch

You want some around the bottom base but too much further up for prolonged periods can damage your tent, loosen the stakes, or at the very least push it further inward and limit your space inside. Ice is usually more of a concern than light powdery snow though.

Why do you remove the snow from the sides of the tent. Does it not act as a blanket to reduce the chill effect of the wind?
@Scorge1202 жыл бұрын
Doesn't really do much since the tent has a floor that's zipped in + an insulated floor on top, so there is no wind that gets in. I was taking the snow off to reduce buildup on the sides of the tent. It was coming down pretty hard so I wasn't sure how high the snow was going to get and I wanted to prevent too much accumulation. Thx for watching
