Way better than I thought it would be. Weathering is super well done. Character is not for me but definitely looks good. The price as boshrek commented on the high side for sure. The shitty sand base will just not go away…

I thought Hot Toys released their Diecast 1/6 in a styrofoam insert? Little disappointed that it not part of the unboxing experience considering the premium price for “diecast”. Also I wish Hot Toys identified what is Diecast on this figure. Looks good but I don’t know if it is $450 Canadian + 12% tax worth. Seems overpriced? Great review as always

I know man sadly they only used plastic tray, i think thats the reason why it has brown shipping box. So for inner packaging they probably want to keep the same design of that 20th anniversary .. and that’s why they still used plastic however, The price in your country is probably a bit expensive due to shipping and profit of seller , but where did get yours? Original price should be 375cad here estimate, then 75cad profit plus tax yes of course.. but it’s worth it bro promise . I mean prices like that it is what it is for other..

I know a lot of folks are probably waiting for the more familiar golden look for this classic droid (heck, I am too!) but I'm glad to have this on order. Interesting, I don't understand why they went with absolutely no hip articulation, I know it was limited but he still had to walk! I remember the full metal Tamashii Nations C3PO was the same as they were using magnets etc.. yet the Hasbro ones have more articulation in the legs, the arm articulation on this is great though. The paint is excellent and makes me think it was done by Ashley Wood/3A/30 etc.. I know it wasn't but it's very much his style if you own any of his robot figures you'll know what I mean. I thought he was going to have some voice effects, I guess they gave up on that idea.

I just checked my sideshow version, and its the same type of articulation. Its lame, but it looks like it still has more range than the hot toys version. what a weird choice. Either way, thanks for the good review! @@MRCcollectionventures
