Wondering if u could help with me something. Got a 99 5.7 vortec stock witblike 224k miles, bogs down on acceleration, backfires. Checked spider injectors, regulator, fuel pump, air leaks around the intake. Got p1345 code. But it's always been on since I owned it. Distributor at tdc. Was gonna actually check wat angle the sparks at but it's been under 20degrees lately. Thinkin it might be my intake gasket, module, or crankshaft sensor wire as it's been repaired already just by tyin the wires back together and electrical tape. Oil had gas in it, and smelled like gas. Wen it gets warmer im gonna let it run and pull plugs wen I turn it off to see if there's extra fuel bein left on. Anything else to look at?

Its the fuel pump. U may have the pressure, but not the delivery. Meaning it's not flowing as it should under hard throttle. Sounds stupid, but that's what it is. Or the fuel filter is just totally plugged up.

Mmkay I didnt know exactly where to start but a bigger carb doesn't equal bigger power its been proven you can hear it in the engine revving, bigger carb on a smaller engine than a 350 and no Wide-band is an eye burning good time I guess. The oil filters at the end of the poop'r is some next level stuff, and there aint no telling a'guy his business when he thinks he's on the top but when he hits bottom he's always open to suggestion.
