I applied for a job as a lifeguard, but I said I only rescue good looking people. They said it was okay, I could just work in the shallow end. Joking aside, I don't want to make light of people dedicated to saving lives. They take it seriously. Another lifeguard there asked what happens if he saves someone's life, and then that night, they drink too much and get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone? Have I saved a life or taken one? They said that's a very profound question. You're going to work in the deep end.

Vacations can be really great, but there’s so many things I hate about staying at hotels; for instance I wish pools didn’t have a shallow end….If there was only a deep end, a lot more kids would drown, and that’s always nice.

I liked the dating life guards thing, there's potential there. Maybe expand the concept to include also failing to date the Olympic pool Lifeguard, cause then she was always bringing up Nietzsche. Hey look, I think someone's drowning! Aren't we all?

I was on duty as a lifeguard and boss told me to rescue that is important to you in shallow pool. So recently saved 10 eyeglasses, 8 applewatches, but i really regrett that i failed to save 2 watches,,,,,,,,,,,,, not 10 kids.

Okay here’s what I got (did not take 10 mins lmao but whtvr) Shallow is a bad way to describe someone who’s just a piece of shit. At least the shallow end of a pool also has a deep side. Not good. Most above ground pools are deep. Kiddie pools are shallow. Better, "My mother made me stay in the shallow end of the pool as she knew the lifeguard would only save the pretty people."
