In China, you have to use your own name and ID to make a reservation for the hotel, of course, you can help them to make a reservation, but you need to provide their name and ID number. This sentence might be healthful: Wǒ yào bāng zhè shí gè rén dìng shí gè fáng jiān, tā men de míng zì shì... Tā men de shēn fèn zhèng (hùzhào) hào shì... 我要帮这十个人定十个房间，他们的名字是...他们的身份证（护照）号是...
