Thanks for the tips! I was able to remove my water pump and it was full of dirt. I just turned it around while rinsing it several times. Then hooked up the power and turned it on and it worked! Thanks again for the info!

Also just removed mine and found a piece of metal in the pump, appears to be a piece of zinc, presumably broke off from the drum somewhere.

Thanks for the video. My pump was fine but there was a small sock clogging it. Removed the top right clamp, took the sock out, made sure the impeller was moving freely and all's good.

I have a 70 series Kenmore washer that will only go into the rinse and spin cycles by manually turning the knob which woks only some of the time. My lid switch has been bypassed so it's not that. My hose is clean so i don't think it's that. Does this issue sound like a timer problem? The timer goes all the way through the cycle but when you lift the lid that washer is full of water. Right know i can force the spin cycle by turning the knob to spin and forcing it on. Need some help!!
