K imma debate Mat and Tom here, the Fredbear suit(idk why they called it Golden Freddy since the MCI hadn't happened yet so Fredbear was still just Fredbear), to think in DualProceesTheory's pov i can see how they saw an adult, i don't think when going over it that Mat and Tom truly registered that if its a dead body...ITS A DEAD BODY- meaning no soul to hold it up so it just sorta..collapses from its own weight, which would explain why only the hair is sticking out, and if it is a dead body that could very well explain Shadow Freddy, but i don't think its a dead body at all, more like wires built in to the suit itself, possibly to reinforce the connections between the suit and the head so it wouldn't fly off when in animatronic mode.

If 2021 me watched this, I would’ve fully believe this but nowadays, I drifted toward the ShatterVictim crowd. Overall, I don’t really known what to think. I don’t hate GoldenDuo as a concept but I’ve seen better theories for Golden Freddy over time. One of their main points is the two lights in GF’s head in the FNAF 3 bad ending which isn’t even true. It clearly has one light in the right eye socket so that doesn’t really make sense. Correct me if I’m wrong but the render of GF in the Encyclopedia has only one eye lit. Also movie GF has one eye lit as well. That to me points to GF having only one spirit. I don’t think there’s “hair” in the Spring Bonnie suit. It would be odd for a kid to already be dead before the bite I don’t believe Evan or Cassidy is the canon name. The closest we have the an official name is Garrett which has way more credibility. Garrett Schmidt is quite literally the movieverse alternate of Crying Child so I don’t know why people still believe that I believe an alternate (and better) theory that describes Crying Child is ShatterVictim. It gives him a way better significance to the overall story rather than be stuck in an animatronic with another person (If my thoughts are kinda all over the place, it’s because I kinda took a break from FNAF as a whole because the community was having a bad effect on me.)

14:50, the problem here is that in order to poke these holes, Matpat is ignoring the literal walls, reality and everything else of the scene. THERE ARE NO GRANDFATHER CLOCKS IN A HOSPITAL !!! All the scenes Mat shows in this video, also show that this is taking place in a home, not a hospital. I wave a waaaaaaay simpler explanation than whatever crap Matpat was spewing here. William brought his child Cassidy home, hooked him up to an I.V bag here in the house. And the flatline sound indicates that Cassidy died after being stuck in the Golden Freddy suit. Matpat even pointed out that such sound effects are usually not literal. Just a sound effect to give the idea that someone died. I like Matpat. Fan for life. But this entire point of Mat's is a giant balloon filled of hot air, and just as easily punctured. Enough said. Though, I really do hope you react to the full video. It's a heck of a awesome production.

Yeah, this theory didn't sit right with me having watched the original video. It's not a great representation. This second time seeing it helped me see why. They're ignoring/leaving out a lot of the supporting evidence/story around this that Dual Process Theory built up. Like Henry being arrested and convicted for the murders and why William would be motivated to clump his child in with the other victims. They even say in this video that it's a "nameless killer." At the end, it frustrates me that they say, "either we lose the fifth child's name and gain crying child's or vice versa, there must be another answer here." And it is so obvious to me and so satisfying narratively that they are the same character! Edit: Not to mention that there is such a concept as in-home hospice care. It is not a stretch at all that Cassidy could be home *and* be hooked up to an IV and vitals monitor and that it would flatline *at home* when he died. Also, the symbolic stuff, it wasn't literally a flatline machine but a way to represent that he'd died.

I don’t think the kid in the stuffed suit is stuffed in a golden Freddy suit- for all we know it could be a chica suit. The golden Freddy suit has a Purple bow tie which the suit in the back doesn’t. Another thing is going back to how the art style for the mini game, the only golden suit that matches the one locked in the room is the Golden Bonnie suit the employee was wearing. It’s golden and doesn’t have a bow tie or bib.
