Aspiring drummer here. Thanks for showing me what my kit should sound like. I should have that down pat in about 10 years

Oh yeah, and the broken up demo is such a great way to conceptualize what's going on. I always think if I can "see" the sticking before I play it, it is so much easier.

Just the way we played through it step by step, I had it in 10 minutes. Pretty slick. You’re becoming a master teacher.

Killing! I know he never played this exact lick, but to me, it has Jeff Porcaro written all over it. Tricky, but subtle, tasty, and musical.

Just lost my papaw, and this video is one way to help me cope. Just as drum skills progressively improve, so does the ability to handle intense grief.. Thanks Rob

Thanks again Rob! I will call you « The Pedagogy man »… you’re doing a great job and I am always excited when a new video comes from your channel. Always useful, always original, always clear as water… God, how don’t you have any courses on internet for intermediate/advanced drummers? I have an edge membership at drumeo but I would like to see more courses from you… I will be more than happy to see more and to follow a Pedagogy man drum program!!! And by the way, your tee-shirt/sweet-shirt are awesome! I am progressively buying the whole collection 😅 Thanks for your hard work and keep the great job! A French fan ! 😉👌🏻

Great as always. Some things I like. It builds on a rudimentary base, that is, doubles and singles. And, it combines right and left feet and hands. This means you can play it in a balanced way, but it sounds super slick. Yet again, something I wished I learnt starting out. Thanks again Rob.

Thank you for this vid Rob, you are the man! When you first played the lick I thought that sounds tricky, but the way you broke it down made me see how simple it really is. You are a natural at teaching brother.
