Hi Dieter, started following you a few weeks back, love the content and your common sense which is lacking these days! I’m after some advice in regards to what is a reasonable price to restump/raise a house, house is up in Maryborough. Cheers Reg

Hi Reg here in brisbane a standard raise is $20k and above. Stump price is aprox $1,200 each for a 75x75x5 to 3m high and with a 450x900deep footing and $45/ 300mm higher or deeper. Being you are in Maryborough the cost will more than likely be higher again. Unfortunately steel, concrete and labour costs have in most places have doubled and some products have trippled in price and all we can do is price accordingly. Unfortunately I do not know anyone outside if Brisbane. I hope this info was useful for you. Thanks Dieter

Did the new owner have evidence that the structural engineer consultant had come to inspect the work to date? Mickey mouse setup the previous crew put together.

Thank you for commenting on this. The owner must have all that paperwork in with the cirtifier and they know that it is going to be attended to by the builder. That is why he got me in to correct the problems.
