@@TheRandomhobo123 Nothing wrong with being cynical, it's better than being nieve. most men are emotionally suppressed, it's what we all go through. I can cry, I did when my wife gave birth to our baby boy, I did when we lost our premature baby girl. These are real events in my life that are worth crying over, not a made up tv show about a cynical and emotionally suppressed doctor. I say save your tears for the real world, theres millions of people dying of starvation, illnesses and diseases like cancer, they need help. If you want to cry for someone cry for the children who lost their parents in war torn countries like yemen, parts of africa, palestine syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, cry for the uygur girls and women being raped in "education camps" cry for the rohingya who lost their homes and witnessed their families tortured and burnt alive. Cry for the ukranians currently trying to fight for their home, cry for world peace but please don't cry over a first world problem like a made up tv show it's weak and immature. If I hurt your feelings by saying this, I'm sorry.
@hasmax7862 жыл бұрын
@@TheRandomhobo123 Studies show depression is more prevalent in richer countries than in 3rd world countries. Reasons for this are because people in poorer countries have been through hardship all their lives and they know how to deal with their emotions when life gets harder. Also, religion plays a big part in creating hope and with the aspiration of achieving a better life in the hereafter people are more content with what they have now. Dr Jordan Peterson said when you get cut at the knees by someone you become cynical, don't be naive your much better off being cynical, you’re protecting yourself from getting cut again. Cynicism isn't a bad thing, being over emotional about small things can be. I am clearly more mature and logical than you are because you think crying over a tv show is somehow a good thing. Just because I didn’t cry over the scene you did that somehow means I’m suppressed. Do you see how silly your argument is? I’ve seen a hard life and deal with my emotions well, I haven’t dealt with depression since I was a teenager and that was a long time ago. Be strong, if the world knocks you down keep getting back up again. I know horrors in my life I’ve had to deal with and pain that nothing can come and knock me down because I know where I’ve come from. I believe in Allah and his prophet, and I am content with what I have and if all else fails we have a free national health service here in the uk for my according to you costly “eventual nervous breakdown”. Did I hurt your feelings? Did this make you cry? grow up. Today there is such a thing as online bullying, it means todays generation are getting hurt by things strangers say about them online and then get depressed about it lol. I agree with you, people who suppress emotions can have major psychological issues in later life, but you are talking about people who suppress emotions on major life events and as I’ve already told you I don’t do that. We are talking about a tv show ffs. I await your very incite filled reply dr. snowflake i promise I won't shoot myself from all the suppressed emotions.

@@LilyGrace95 studio insurance doesn't really care how skilled you are it's not really a factor to them. anything considered "elevated risk" is a no go as they cant afford the talent even so much as spraining an ankle if they want shooting to stay on schedule. And to them a motorcycle is elevated risk just because they aren't self supporting though I'm sure that's just the start of their issues with it. It's just easier and more cost effective to get a stunt man to do it even if not actually needed. There's a reason it's shot the way it is, they don't use shitty angles and extreme closeups for nothing.
@LilyGrace953 жыл бұрын
@@MrDJAK777 I'm an actor. I know how it works, thanks. And yeah, most studios won't let an actor do STUNTS. But driving? That's different, especially if said actor is highly proficient. It's not uncommon at all for actors to do advanced driving (Freema Ageyman for example did a surprising amount of stunt driving in Dr Who back in 2007). There is literally no reason why they wouldn't let Hugh Laurie drive down a road. There's no stunt or advanced driving involved, there's no other cars unless they put them there because they'd have closed the road for filming, and he rode his bike to and from set every day. Hell, he even rode it to award shows. Plus, when an actor gets to a certain level of stardom, they can do it if they want to. Just look at Tom Cruise.
