I love how Taub's whole thing initially was that he loved being a plastic surgeon but was forced to give it up when he went to work for House. But now that he's back at his supposed dream job he realizes the lack of meaning it holds, House gave him purpose whether he realized he wanted it or not.

Taub was PROUD of his work, he loved "every boob job, every tummy tuck" as he once said because he was very good at it and he admired his work as a good artisan should. Also allergies Developing nations do have allergies but usually just rash or feeling bad. Not like in developed nations where peanuts then tree nuts and perfume etc causes allergies. One theory is by i heard is due to people being so worried for one guy who has a bad allergy to peanuts, not life threatening but definitely medical attention, they make a peanut free zone which makes the one with the allergy worse to the point it does become life threatening and makes everyone who never had issues with peanuts develop some mild form of allergy as well than becomes worse over time. Granted it is a theory but who really knows. It works out for big pharma as they have as more reliant on them with allergy medication and anti inflammatory Actually i think house commented something about that in earlier seasons, how some bacteria or virus was getting worse due to over medication
@MasterHyperionMC2 жыл бұрын
@@Beowulf95 drug-resistant bacteria is a major concern. People are taking antibiotics for far too much (including a whole range of things the antibiotics won’t even help with), which will cause bacteria with a greater resistance to those antibiotics to develop (cos the others die off, leaving the resistant ones to reproduce, etc). It’s also a problem, though much less of one, with certain kinds of parasite. Not sure about viruses.

If memory serves me, didn't his wife leave him for going back?
@michaelmcdoesntexist14592 жыл бұрын
No. It happened a lot later but she started yo cheat on him with a friend. Then they divorce. Then Taub dated a nurse. Then Taub and his ex wife cheat with each other. To summarize: Taub and his wife were both jerks

Thirteen: What are you doing here? House: The producers wanted the audience to see your sweaty midriff and a gym was the best setting to make that happen

Its like being good in a video game. When you know you can absolutely dominate everybody, its hard to let go - especially with the sunk cost fallacy. They shine when they work on House's team and everybody knows that.

I often wonder if my allergies came not just from genetics but also from my Father, who is a wee bit OCD when it comes to germs, real or imagined. I agree with the hypothesis that kids should be allowed to play in dirt when growing up, as challenging the immune system is really important when young. Also, great to see Olivia Wilde in gym gear :)

Agreed. I have family that when they go shopping will literally wipe every surface they will touch with a clorox wipe before touching it. And I purposely touch the unwiped surfaces while staring at them. LOL

I always wondered how Taub was so good at diagnosing strange diseases. I mean, yeah plastic surgeons went through basic doctor stuffs, but don't they then specialize in surgeries (not medical diseases)??
@PRubin-rh4sr2 жыл бұрын
He could just be reading journals on the side. I study pre-med but I read history on the side as a hobby for example.
@DracoGlacius2 жыл бұрын
The board scores required to match in plastics is really high, so he'd be naturally very bright. If you do it as a fellowship after a gen surg residency you learn a good deal of medicine doing surgical icu.

wow they didnt even remember her name on the answering machine! I hope 13 doesn't take that job, she will clearly be undervalued.
