Perhaps when the village undertaker was preparing Larry for burriel later that night, he removed the silver bullet from his body, and the full moon revived him (and probably transformed him back into the Wolf Man, likely resulting in the death of the undertaker, before the creature escaped the morgue, and back out into the night). That would have left Larry finally seeking help from Dr. Edelman in the next sequel, as a last resort. It's so sad that Elonka's sacrifice of her own life for Larry, one way or another, turned out to be for nothing.

I noticed when he pulls up his pants leg, you can see his bare leg because the wolf hair doesn't extend that far up. Around 1:40.

It's not as much a blooper so much as it's an unfortunate byproduct of the year in which it was made. Thanks to WW2, the supply of yak-hair was very low, and Jack Pierce decided to restrict it for the more crucial facial-makeup.

Though the villagers had seen the Frankenstein Monster holding the mad scientist who woke him up from the ice and gave him strength again before the Hunchback turned on him after the Gypsy Woman was killed shooting Lawrence Talbot, the Wolf Man, with a silver bullet to free him from his curse, the villagers had to try to dispose of the Montser by sending him and the mad scientist to the bog and drown them in quicksand, though the Monster did return sometime later and also Lawrence Talbot.
