Those are just rumors without evidence and it figures since the Dance of Dragons in Fire and Blood is written from 3 very questionable sources. Many of these events happened without any of those 3 sources having a clue about them - they just rumored and choose one explanation that suited them in accordance with their sympathies. Laenor's situation was boringly handled in the book and that's also because no one from those 3 sources could have known how Laenor, Daemon and Rhaenyra chose to fake Laenor death so they can both be free. Also Daemon was proven to be in Pentos while the Strongs died. Ever since I first read Fire and Blood, my money was always on that scum Larys that did it. I'm happy the truth was what I strongly suspected. The other 2 rumors about Daemon or even Viserys orchestrating their death were always stupid and out of character with both of them, for me. Larys Strong is both Littlefinger and Varys in this show, seeing as how he is now lord of Harrenhall and master of Whispers, even though the latter function is unofficial at present. Daemon Targaryen is the best character in all of ASOAIF and my favorite. I always was of the opinion that he was personally responsible for much fewer deaths that he was credited or rumored for.

Pilar fast clapping with happiness over Daemon and Rhaenyra - The best!😁 I just looooove what they did with the Laenor situation. That discussion they had, they basically liberated themselves there. Rhaenyra, Daemon and Laenor came up with this plan to fake his death so that both him and Rhaenyra can be free to live how they want and love who they want. That's a true friendship right there. Also, I don't know if you caught what Daemon's laugh during Laena's funeral actually meant. If you remember, Vaemond Velaryon was giving the eulogy in high Valyrian and at one point he started passive aggressively insinuating that Rhaenyra's children are bastards, through his choice of words. Daemon's laugh there were meant to disrupt that insult in a funny and shocking way. Everyone who spoke high Valyrian there knew what Vaemond means with those words and if you look at him, he was looking straight at Rhaenyra while he spoke about the thickness of blood.

Thank you for rewatching the valyrian wedding scene because it was so beautiful and just another reason why I love Daemon and Rhaenyra. Marrying in their valyrian old tradition from where the targaryans & dragons originated. The binding of two souls with blood in high valyrian. A bond containing both love, a coming home, purpose & political gain intertwined. Excited to see them working/scheming together in future episodes. Also to the all the people below arguing over who is right and who is wrong, this is game of thrones nobody is 100 percent morally good or perfect. George RR martin even says this about everyone in his world, they are flawed humans who posses both good and bad, Daemon put it best this is a tragic world that they live in. I'm happy you remembered Helaena's prophetic words from last episode. Alicent: "You will have a dragon one day". Helaena: "He'll have to close an eye". She made another prophecy: "The last ring has no legs at all". I won't tell you who and what that's about, but it's damn awesome they made Helaena a dreamer like Viserys, Ageon the Conqueror or Daenys (the one who dreamed of the Doom of Valyria). I just love Helaena's prophetic verses here: Hands turn loom, Spool of green, spool of black, Dragons of flesh weaving dragons of thread. The Hands (Otto for the greens and Daemon for the blacks) are plotting. The Greens and the Blacks are weaving their flags. With green thread and black thread. Just a little language thing. Soves is fly in Valyrian, Vlah is fly in Dothraki. Dany uses Sovetes (the plural of soves in am earlier episode) but Emilia decided to use the dothraki for the first fly with Drogon scene.

How beautiful was it that Daemon had asked Viserys to give Rhaenyra him to wed.. saying he would take her as she is, marry her in the tradition of their house (like Aegon and his sister wives), and bring house Targaryen back to its glory, and that is exactly what Rhaenyra told him. She wanted to marry him in front of the Gods, not man, in a private ceremony, just like Aegon did and bring power back to their house. "I want Rhaenyra" "I want you" The past 10 years Daemon has been struggling with not being needed by his brother. We've heard it from him the entire series... all the way back to episode 1. He told Viserys all he ever did was send him away... and never asked him to be his hand, so he could protect him. And Rhaenyra says right here... "I need you" be my husband and prince consort and we can do this together. And he becomes her protector for the rest of the series. Daemon and Rhaenyras fire was GONE these past years... but now that they reconnected its back. Because shes right.. they were ALWAYS meant to BURN TOGETHER. Daemon found his purpose and is felt needed. Rhaenyra has lost her abandonment issue with him returning. And after rewatching the beach and sex scene (because it was unbelievably dark) and even the proposal scene... he just can't believe what's happening. Also, I think he cared about Laena, and he settled and they were happy... but I think something was still missing there... because him and Rhaenrya were just always meant to be. And thats why instead of saying he loved her... he said he was "happy enough" because he knew he couldn't have Rhae.

Not a spoiler, as that is not in the books. Last episode, after Allicent tells Aemond he will have a dragon one day, she says, "he will have to close an eye." We see he lost an eye as you noted. About the millipede, she also said, the head has eyes but cannot see( Viserys?) and the last ring is broken and has no legs (Bran the broken?). In this episode she says, "the hand looms in spools of black and spools of green, dragons of flesh weave dragons of thread." It's up to the audience to interpret. Very cool.
