You’ve got Corlys a bit wrong. If his throne was meaningless, there’d be no need for an alliance with his house. Also, just because his granddaughter accuses him of acting like the only one who has lost Rhaenys doesn’t mean he’s acting that way. I thought that was a silly line. He knew longer than anyone on the black side.

This was such a shit episode it took me 2 weeks to attempt finishing it before i gave up not even 30 mins thru i js watch the recap instead

Agreed. This was such a boring episode. Allicent and Rhaenyra actresses don't make you feel like you want to be interested or endeared to their characters. They have both not stepped up to the plate this season as well as some real lacklustre writing.
