GOT and HOTD have the same effect on me. I like some characters immediatly and that never changes. BUT far more often when I HATE a character they somehow end up as some of the ones I love. In GOT it was Theon and Tormund. In this it has been Aegon, Larys (yes literally from this one FANTASTIC monologue in Aegon's bedchamber), and Alys Rivers who has somehow become quite beautiful over the last three episodes. It's easier to notice when she's not licking raw blood off of her fingers. Does anybody recall any other character in either show having that Irish accent? And if so is it just random or is it supposed to indicate where in the show world she originates from?
