It’s based off of a real song (Venus in Furs) so it wouldn’t be used in the actual show.

Actually this is based on a song from the books called Jenny of Oldstones(one that Podrick sings before the Long Night battle) and that song happens almost a hundred years after this show ends..may be that's why it isn't used by Ramin Djawadi

This music made the trailer 10 thousand times better. I got super hyped & eager to watch the first season. I cannot wait for the time when season 2 trailers start dropping, those are always some of the good times.

why the fuck did they not use in the opening? It fits the show much more than the GOT theme. I imagine a bunch of executive cowards just decided to go for GOT theme because "surely we should use it, it's iconic"
